They were not serving food when I went, but the atmosphere was really good. We had a good welcome by the landlord. I asked him which ale he recommended and he told me. It is a real ale pub which I really like. Brilliant and well done to the gaffer.

Anyone who rates this traditional local less than 5 does not appreciate real ale or good company! Up to 7 draught real ales on sale which is likely to include Bass, Danish Dynamite, Sixpenny Gold and GFB. All expertly kept and served...... There's always something happening - quiz night on Sunday, darts on Tuesday, cribbage on Wednesday, plus music and bbqs on summer weekends.

Friendly, Back street pub with large garden area. Good selection of draught ales and lagers. Below average pricing. Sport on the gogglebox. Landlord has been running pubs and clubs for years so knows his onions.
