Just finished a fantastic dish of haddock and chips and thoroughly enjoyed it. The fish was fresh and excellent and the chips were outstanding too. There is a good variety and portions are plenty. They offer unlimited chips for those that are very hungry so don’t worry about going hungry. Service is friendly and helpful and overall a very good and happy visit. You can both dine in the restaurant or have it to take away so the choice is yours.
Will definitely come back again and have some more when I am back again.
I often visit the restaurant upstairs and am always blown away by the friendly and professional service... and to top it off the food is always cooked to perfection... today's meal was soooo good I didn't leave a crumb on the plate! Well Done Harlees, you encompass traditional Fish and Chips with a lovely atmosphere. I always recommend.
Surprisingly found this place for early dinner after visisting Stonehenge, returned to the town. Reasonable price with big portion & delicious food, good value for money👍😋
Everything made to order except chips. Quality fish and precise cooking, cod or haddock or plaice. Batter a bit underseasoned (but that's subjective). Nice with gherkins and pickled eggs. Staff nice and efficient. G/F takeaway, upstairs restaurant.
The staff is very friendly. The batter is very crispy and the fish is tasty. The only thing i wouldn't recommend is the coffee, but hey it's a fish and chips shop...

We came at 15:00. No customers inside (had us a bit worried).
We ordered regular sized Cod and Haddock.
Delivered at the table after 8 minutes.

Order the Haddock! Moist, flaky fish in a super crispy batter! Amazing taste!

Absolutely top rate. Fish & chips made exactly how they should be. Lovely & clean place to eat and service 1st class. Can't recommend highly enough. Definitely go again next time we're here in Salisbury. :)
Delicious fish and chips. I had the large cod and the taste was the best I’ve had so far. Batter was light, the fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. The chips was also well fried. Both were crispy outside, soft inside. Scampi is not to be missed as well. The ambience on the top floor restaurant was cosy. Top rate.
Went here today with OH and son. Fish (cod & haddock) and chips cooked freshly while we waited. Finished product absolutely gorgeous - crisp batter the like of which I've never had before and beautifully cooked fish. Crisp chips and not a soggy one to be found. Huge portions (only ordered regular!). Thoroughly recommend. De-lish!
If it wasnt for the fact there are stairs to the restaurant meaning those with walking difficulties aren't able to access it then I would have no hesitation giving this place 5 stars!! The best chips & goujon chicken I've ever had! I don't like fish but mum said hers were absolutely delicious. It arrived scolding hot meaning that it's all cooked fresh to order & how it should be. Will definitely come back
Absolutely love this takeaway and restaurant chippy. Can always count on top quality food whenever I visit the shop as well as great service. Very friendly and welcoming. Love the kids drawings upstairs in the restaurant, gives it a nice family feeling .
