We regularly go to the Harvester for breakfast lunch or dinner. The service is always friendly and the food is always good. It doesn't break the bank and the children always eat their fill. The absolute best bit as far as I am concerned though is the Vegan menu which makes eating out something I enjoy as much as the children, instead of me making do while they eat what they want. The hippie breakfast is a must and the free all you can eat salad is also great value.
Lovely meal yesterday with my family and two young children, celebrating my fortieth birthday. From start to finish I was impressed, the young man who was our waiter was friendly, easy going and attentive, our meals were all well presented, well cooked and extremely enjoyable. Amazing service and meal yet again at the Harvester Salisbury. Young chap with the beard served us and as always, was polite, attentive and treated us like special guests. Great meal, cheap beers and all round great team effort. Well done guys.
We had a lovely meal on Sunday evening. We didnt have to wait for a table, salad was fresh, food arrived quickly & was delicious. We didnt even have to wait ages for the bill. A good experience.
Seems that most of our celebrations end up at the harvester because the food is good and the staff are very helpful.

I celebrated my 50th Birthday by dining with my friends at Old Castle after a visit in a day at the Stonehenge. My memorable experience was complted for dinner. Food fantastic with excellent service: all staff waited to bring my cake and sang happy birthday to me with my friends. Definitely a special place to go back to.
We had the ultimate mixed grill, so much food, and properly cooked. The piece of gammon was thick, where we're used to having just a thin bit of meat in other places. The service was great, all very friendly.
We want to mention the chefs, Roy and Rebecca, as they did an excellent job. Also Andrea who served us, she had a big smile throughout.
Walked by today to find Harvester is wearing a polished look for summer. Will surely be visiting again to have another go at the food.
Great location overlooking Old Sarum Castle and adjoining Hudson Field, pleasant staff and excellent food.

Despite the restaurant being very busy, our order was taken quickly - which is a godsend with 3 small children in tow.
Food was excellent, all mains arrived hot & together a short while later.

I've lived in Salisbury for years, and this was the first time I've been here. It was busy, friendly with good service...Pool tables and a beer garden. A good surprise. I didn't get food, but there's plenty of local beer / Ales to choose from.
We went and had dinner 19/09/23 for our daughterâs 5th birthday. Kieran was our waiter and he was lovely. Very polite and helpful. He checked in on us a few times to make sure we were ok. At the end of our meal he brought out our daughterâs cake with a few other members of the team and they all sung happy birthday to her âșïž
She thanked him with a slice of cake.

Isabella our server was fantastic, food came out fast and it was all really great. Reasonably priced as always especially when filling up on salad bar. The salad now has extra stuff! How good!
When I reserved the table online I stated one diner had a nut allergy. When the lady took our order she did not ask if anyone had any allergies or which one of us it was. We also asked for a plain burger and when it came out it had sauce in it. It then had to be taken away and another one cooked so she had to wait ten minutes whilst the rest of us ate. All the other meals were lovely. So it spoiled what could of been a 9 or ten

Lovely food , freshly cooked , not much of a selection on the salad cart anymore , staff were all happy to help , polite and cared for each & every customer. The Atmosphere was very quiet , but that could just be the time of day , as it was a week day lunchtime . Reasonable prices and great quality food which we all enjoyed .
The staff was amazing, our server was Gina. We came for a birthday meal. We prebooked the table as it was for 12 people. Everyone enjoyed the food it was awesome, with lots of options available. Gina was so helpful and attentive and made us feel very welcome, she always smiled and nothing was too much hassle.

Service and food was amazing. We visited on the 12/09/23 and booked last minute. We were given an amazing table with a lovely atmosphere. Our server was Chelsea who went above and beyond for us. Checked in few times when we had our drinks then salad then our food. Couldnât have asked for anymore from a server she was amazing and an asset to the company. Thank you Chelsea.
The team were amazing, from helping me book my large 19 people table to the food preorder :) on the day they checked often and made sure everything was okay. I want to say a special thanks to Kate who helped us throughout the night and made it go off without any hitches! Will use again for a staff gathering! Thanks again

If I could rate this restaurant 10 stars,
I could say 100 stars for the quality of the cheese burger with plain fries,
(Choice of varied even spiced delights),
Perfectly crisped and greatly flavoured,
I can't think of a rhyme that demonstrated that I savoured
the refillable drink, free salad and relatives' treats, a wonderful surprise
so earnestly welcomed and neat.
Including the decor, space and individual seat.

First time at Harvester! Well, it got off to a rocky start, with it taking over 20 minutes to get drinks to our table on a hot day when we just wanted a drink quickly.
But after that, for some reason, things got better. We had different waiting staff who were brilliant.
Now, let's talk about the food! Wow, I was expecting a lot, but the chicken, waffles, and bacon were amazingly good. The other meals were equally impressive, and the desserts were generously sized, to be fair.
There aren't many places where my family and I can enjoy a nice meal without being burdened with massive bills, but Harvester did well, and we will definitely be back. I just hope the other branches live up to the quality shown here.

The food was fairly standard, but we appreciated the free salad deal - nice to see something healthy as a complementary incentive. The staff were working incredibly hard, and service was quick given how busy it was. My son loved the open area to run around in, as did all the kids- he was making friends straight away. We will go back when we visit the area again, mainly because some space for kids to let off steam is really appreciated
