I had the lentil and kale dish. I can't remember the exact name of it but it was the nicest meal I've had in ages, so tasty. I loved it .

Great bar and restaurant plus beer garden to the rear with wonderful views of Salisbury Cathedral. Good choice of ice cold beers and cider. We where welcomed in by the staff right from the start. The chefs made sure our plates and bellies were full. We are going back.

Love coming to this atmospheric pub. On this occasion came for lunch following attending one of the Salisbury Cathedral tours (stonemasons). Friendly staff , efficient service. We were told at the outset that, as we were a group, ordering different things, our meals might arrive at slightly different times. In the event, there was only one slight ‘outlier’ and others were still eating when his arrived, so he wasn’t ‘isolated’

Room was a bit small and the building is a bit quirky, but we absolutely loved staying there! So much history, great location, and most of all, Rachel and her staff are top notch. This isn’t a cookie cutter chain hotel, so if that’s what you like, The New Inn isn’t for you. But if you enjoy a unique stay in a comfortable inn with delightful staff, give it a try. We would certainly stay here again.

A lovely pub in a beautiful location. Minutes away from Salisbury Cathedral and with a large pub garden, The New Inn is a must visit for a pint. Especially when the weather is nice.

Wonderful pub in the heart of Salisbury popped in on Sunday evening, hardly any beers on, but enjoyed a nice pint of cider! One of the best beer gardens in town!

The atmosphere when you walk in is fun and cozy, with two wood fires at each end and beautiful exposed beams. The restaurant was in the back, and the service was phenomenal. Our party ordered a variety of dishes including traditional bangers and mash and fish and chips. We also got prawn salad, fried brie cheese, pepperoni pizza and chickpea curry with spinach and sweet potato. Everything was divine, and the cocktails were fun. It was great value for your money, highly recommended.

Probably the best summer beer garden in Salisbury. Lovely sun trap with plenty of grass and tables. Even better you can see the cathedral spire.

We came in for a birthday party last night, although I tried to call ahead and ended up running late, everyone was really accommodating and helped make Anne Marie's birthday a night to remember! <3

Excellent Sunday lunch on mother's day, roast beef was nicely under-done and the service was outstanding! Fascinating sprawling medieval building with lots of interesting nooks and crannies and a lovely garden.

Nice meal. Sadly only 1 ale on, but that was fine. Young lady serving very nervous but friendly.

Fantastic pub, the staff are always warm and welcoming and the food is very good. One of my all year round favourite pubs. The garden is a beautiful place to relax in the summer or alternatively cozy up in front of one of the fires on the winter.
