I've been staying here for business but couldn't be happier with the service. Every staff member has been warm and welcoming. There's not a lot of staff on and I noticed they are juggling the bar, restaurant and guest rooms all at once. Despite this I found my experience with them to still be great and they have been attentive throughout with everything they are managing at once.
I have really enjoyed the food here. I'm not normally fussy or vigilant with food quality but here I really noticed the difference in the freshness of the food. Every dish I had seemed to have been made fresh from order and delivered beautifully presented and delicious! Even down to lemon on side of plate for fish dishes and lime's in my drink, I could tell the quality of freshness where normally these items would be in a container drying out all day and just thrown in....it made a noticeable difference to me with each dish received.
I appreciated the decor and character of the bar and guest room. I found my room to be in-keeping with the character of salisbury but yet with a modern feel of furniture.
I can't fault service received here and have been really happy with my stay so thank you Qudos and your team for making my stay so comfortable!
We stayed here for 1 night and thoroughly enjoyed everything about it!! Room was lovely, staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. We shared Nachos for lunch which were heavenly and our evening meal was utterly delicious. The live music didn't disturb our sleep as it finished promptly at 11:30 as stated.
We would recommend Qudos for it's welcoming atmosphere and ideal location. Top marks for everything and a special gold star to the very talented chef.
We'll definitely be back.
By far the best steak in Salisbury! Great gluten free options and all food made from scratch... compliments to the chef
Without a doubt the best burger in Salisbury. When you think of Qudos you usually think of the awesome live music or great gin selection, but my god, the burgers... THE. BEST.

Best place for live music in Salisbury we from neath but every time we stay in Salisbury we come to this place awsome x
Totally recommend this place, we only stayed for one night and loved it, we were upgraded from a double to a suite on arrival at it was amazing, spotless, comfortable and everything we needed, very friendly and welcoming staff! Would definitely book again.
This is our 2nd visit to qudos. We stayed for 2 nights, could not fault the place at all...rooms were lovely and the staff welcomed you.. live music both nights we were their and both very good. Defo be coming back..
From the moment you walk in the door the staff do everything they can to make your stay wonderful. The rooms are large and nice. The food is just amazing! And the staff are amazing. It truly is a gem of Salisbury.
Great bar with really friendly staff. The live bands that they have are all very good catering for many genres. Possibly the best bar in Salisbury.
My Parents recently had their wedding at Qudos, the staff were amazing & very helpful! The food was incredible & everyone who attended really enjoyed the day!
Can't believe I haven't reviewed Qudos already!
I've been coming here for over a year and a half... the food, my favourite in Salisbury...the bar, good selection of everything - but check out the whisky and gin selections... the staff, AWESOME...the music, varied and always a decent band for entertainment.
The rooms here are above average too, I've had a few friends stay now ... some great reviews off them!!!
The Sunday Carvery is unreal at £10 with repeat visits allowed too, you have to try it at least once... I guarantee it won't be the last time !
States in the bed and breakfast rooms at this bar had a friendly welcome on arrival had a lovely clean warm room with shower and loo on suite and the bed was huge clean bedding tea and coffee in room and a little touch of an extension lead for using hair tools as the plug is a bit far from the mirror ✅we stayed in the bar for the evening watched a live band who were very good (the underdogs) very friendly atmosphere till about 1 am . We were asked what time we wanted breakfast we said 9.30 am went down for a lovely cooked breakfast and fruit crossonts, (sorryspelling) cereal, yoghurt and juices then had sausage tomatoes mushrooms beans and egg , served by a very friendly member of staff , we Bly stayed one night this place is in the middle of town so a 2minite walk to the shops etc parking facilities and we were not made to hurry out or move our car . Lovely people would recommend this place to anyone will definitely be going back .
Spectacular! Completely blew my expectations out of the water! Prime location, walking distance to the train station. We were treated to the most talented live band as we had a world class dinner (they just released a new menu last week and it was beyond delicious). Great water pressure in the shower, beautiful and comfortable accommodations, sophisticated and courteous staff. and a world class breakfast to round out our stay in the morning. We're coming back to England specifically so we can stay at qudos in Salisbury again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Great hotel, with first class service from every single person I spoke to. Last minute booking for a Sunday night, but they promptly messaged to warn me about last check-in time so I was able to alter my plans to avert problems. Happily accommodated me showing up on a bike and found me somewhere reassuringly secure to leave it overnight. My room was a touch small, but the price reflected that, so no issue. Well appointed with many USB sockets (not enough hotels have this in 2023, so much appreciated!). Breakfast was good and plentiful. Would happily stay again.
A good little stay over for work, The room was ok the average type was nothing special. The shower wasn't the best but ok it did the job just about. The breakfast was the best part, really good quality and filling, superb!
Room was very nice. Has been modernized so looks quite trendy. Room has plenty of space, with closet, mini fridge, and desk. Has a nice bathroom with large bathtub, heated towel racks and floor. Excellent location - close to buses and not a bad walk from train station. There is a restaurant on ground floor that seemed to serve a nice dinner, though we never ate there. Bad bits....wifi is SLOW!!!! Our ceiling was leaking....told assistant manager but she wasn't overly worried about it. There's no front desk....everything pertaining to rooms goes through person at bar...weird. There's no outlets in bathroom....and the only shelf is above toilet....guess what happens with that. Would still recommend hotel though.
Nice hotel with restaurant available in Salisbury. It's only 0.5 miles away from railway station and nearby restaurants are also available for different options to try out.
This is a must go place for something to eat if you’re in Salisbury.
Went for evening meal. Food was superb. Service was fantastic and the atmosphere was great.
Ellie who waited on our table was very professional, attentive and friendly.
Close to everything, great service but a little hard checking in when the pub is busy. Breakfast in the morning was excellent
What a lovely place, don't be put off on first impressions....when walked into busy bar I was a little unsure...but everything was just perfect. The bed was comfy, the sheets were good quality, the pillows super soft, the bathroom facilities very clean and the breakfast was ideal and a fantastic selection available of both continental and freshly cooked to order. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the location for Salisbury Playhouse, restaurants and cathedral is brilliant. Long stay parking is just across the road and if you arrive after 6pm and leave before 8am will cost nothing. If return to Salisbury will definitely come back here.
Today we popped in for breakfast, and it was amazing from start to finish. I had the fat man option of all of it, and it was good
Lovely rooms very chic and clean. Housekeeping was very good with plenty of the essentials. Food was excellent with a refreshingly different menu at reasonable prices. Great location with an easy walk to the city centre and attractions. Book a parking space great value and only a short walk.
For a starter and a main course I paid between £30-£40 which I didn’t think was too bad. To start I had a lovely fried Brie wedge. It is a must have if you like cheesy goodness. For main I opted for the burger. The burger wasn’t anything special and tasted how you would imagine from a pub restaurant. The pub is very clean and being near to the city makes it easy to get to. Would definitely recommend the food as well as the bar. Staff are always so helpful and informative
Great Central Hotel, amazing breakfast. Only low was a very weak shower, but that's nitpicking
A great place to stay. Room was lovely and had everything you needed. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great value with a brilliant selection from the buffet and hot breakfast choices.
Friendly staff, big spacious rooms in the hotel.
Totally enjoyed our stay, staff friendly, rooms so clean and bed comfy.
Good choice of food from the Menu.
Full breakfast was fab. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.
Room was very comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was amazing and staff were very attentive! Would definitely stay again.
Really great little hotel. Very close to all you need in Salisbury. Breakfast was really lovely with lots of choice. We were a group of 10 and all breakfasts were out with minutes of each other
