Large and open pub with a garden that stretches a long way back to the river Avon. Plenty of seating inside and out, with covered areas for inclement weather. Nice selection of beers and friendly staff.
About 20 minutes away from Stonehenge, there's this pub I really enjoyed! Great food, excellent service! I think I'll be back on a Monday to watch Dungeons and Dragons game sessions.
Cracking little boozer in Salisbury, the staff are friendly and professional. Didn't eat in but the food did look and smell good.

Friendly staff and amazing food, both in flavour and portions. It has been some time since I had such a juicy chicken breast in a burger.
On a side note, the pub has boardgames and a "Geek & Dragons" event on Mondays. As a geek I find this amazing!
Friendly service from all staff during our work night out. I don't normally choose a burger when I go out for food, but it came with rosemary salted chips & very light creamy coleslaw & sounded nice. It was delicious & I cleared my plate. Everyone enjoyed their food. Great to have some live musi
Cracking pub with a traditional vibe but modern sensibilities. Fab friendly staff, good ale, and yummy food. Good vegan options as well as traditional (well done) pub grub. Save some room for dessert!

George and Dragon is a most excellent public house, the food is always delicious and hot, unless you order something not, drinks are plenty, hot and cold beverages. The staff are awesome, polite and helpful. Would definitely give this public house the award for best pub in Salisbury.
Cheap food, good food, and friendly staff. No wonder it was voted the best pub in Salisbury. Although it looks slightly grimy on the outside, the chicken and mushroom dishes and the fish and chips are great value, as is the welsh rarebit with ale!

A nice old pub, very friendly staff but not intrusive. Good home cooked Sunday roast and catered well for the vegan. We didn't bring the dog, but wished we had.

Popped in for a bite to eat. Mistakenly ordered the 3 for Ā£10 option each and almost exploded!! Great idea and probably next time will get only 3 +1 extra! Really tasty and nice outside area. Unfortunately let down by the very drunk students (at 6pm) throwing up at the end of the garden. Glad we mov
