I was so pleasantly surprised by this characterful cafe whilst ‘brunching’ with family last Saturday. Deliciously tasty and had a different menu from the traditional English breakfast. I had a dish with haloumi hash, poached eggs and avocado with a lime kick. The cakes were also lush and there was loads of space with comfy sofas and a really relaxed weekend atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back at other times!
Absolutely love this place! The eggy bread with bacon is my favourite! The service is great and quick would definitely recommend!!
I'm a regular here and yes, of course it gets busy and you have to wait.... to me if that is the case then they are doing something right if people are queing to get in! I like to get in early, quite happy to sit and people watch over eating sourdough toast with peanut butter and love the date and walnut slice, very naughty but bloody lovely. All the food is yummy and they cater for everything and anybody... even your dog. I would like to thank the staff Charlie, Emily, Dave and James who are the regulars there... crack on you are doing great and i'll be back on Saturday!!
The staff are always so friendly and the service is excellent. I love that the menu is so vegan friendly and that I have so many meal options.
Been here quite a few times and never disappoints, The ancient building and eclectic decor create a lovely friendly atmosphere. Excellent food and staff could not be nicer.
Always visit here when I’m shopping in Salisbury, staff eager to please and cakes are amazing! Such a fascinating building and well worth a visit
fav food, yum yum!
i rate beans on toast!
The staff here are very friendly and extremely passionate about what they do, the venue is fantastic, allows dogs and serves up excellent food and drinks just like all Boston Tea Party Cafés. Boston Tea Party Salisbury, just like all other Boston Tea Party cafés, does so much to help the community and that deserves acknowledgement and a thank you. Very highly recommended!
Amazing food and great service! Would definitely recommend
The Boston Tea Party is always a favourite of mine and a recent end of term visit to this quirky building was just what I needed. Whilst my friend and I visited later in the day and were only ordering tea and cakes, there was a wide variety of cakes and traybakes, beautifully displayed, to choose from, service was prompt and with a smile. The lemon drizzle cake and almond cake were both delicious and another slice could easily have been eaten. Thank you BTP
Had brunch at btp yesterday my first visit found it excellent will definite be going back . The house coffee ☕️ was amazing so much so I had two .
This has got to be the best tasting coffee in Salisbury I've been to every coffee shop in Salisbury
We did not expect the AMAZING grand hall upstairs.
What an absolute gem. We came for brunch/lunch. It’s order at the table with QR code and a bit of a wait for food (NB it is huge and was pretty busy as expected for a Saturday) but well worth it. I had the sweetcorn hash…. Very possibly the best brunch I’ve ever had. We also had the sausage and egg muffin, lovely coffees and 2 bloody Mary’s.
I’ve given service 4/5 only for the wait, and it wasn’t too long. The staff are really lovely! It’s dog friendly and a real community feel. I love the dog of the week!! Overall amazing breakfast/brunch/lunch! Thank you!
Stopped in for a quick snack. Really enjoyed the hash browns and chai latte. I was more interested in taking pictures of the woodwork inside on the upper dining level!
First time ever visiting a Boston Tea Party and I was quite impressed! We ordered and paid via the App, which is always easy peasy and makes the experience a bit smoother. Unfortunately, what I planned to order was unavailable due to an issue with being able to have poached eggs with some meals but not others (still slightly confused regarding this???). Nevertheless, we all ordered some food, which came in reasonable time and was all very fresh and piping hot. The quality of the food was top, the granary toast crispy and earthy in flavour with lashings of proper butter, and the poached eggs oozed to perfection. The hash browns - oh my, hands down the best hash browns I have ever eaten. Extremely crispy and flavourful. There was a little confusion when our "seasonal greens" (depicted on the app as being peas, edemame and a little kale) ended up just being kale. When we explained that this was not what we were expecting/would not have ordered just kale we were kindly directed to the till downstairs for a refund (the person at the till was already informed and so was waiting for us). This was all handled professionally and politely, the staff were all kind and attentive to the perfect degree. We would also just say that the place was slightly on the colder side for a our liking, not a huge issue but a bit of extra heating would have been nice on the cold day in which we visited! Overall, we would definitely return to and recommend Boston Tea Party, and cannot wait to go back and try more of the menu!
This is our go to recharge spot when we go shopping in the centre. I'm a disappointed with the recent changes, prices have been hiked, options removed. Also, now the grand hall is aimed for general food and the comfy sofas and chairs have been moved to a cake and coffee section on the first floor.
It was far more welcoming and better value before, although well still visit, it has dropped from the top spot.
A beautiful location in the heart of Salisbury and a varied menu choice
After trudging upstairs, there was a little difficulty using the QR codes to order.
One of these was being unable to click on the add me button as it was set too low to utilise.
For ordering I had to return back down the stairs and reorder.
Staff were as helpful as they could be and agreed that the website was not always the best. They also are knowledgeable about the products or were happy to find out answers if they were uncertain themselves.
The food was very tasty. I tried the vegan Grain bowl which was absolutely delicious and quick to arrive after the time delay of actually ordering it.
This would have been a five review if it wasn’t for the ordering difficulties and the extra stairs that I had to run up and down
Average restaurant for a coffee/tea and a snack.
Located in a very nice building.
I have heard lots of good things about this place but have never tried it until this morning. The place is quite quirky and easy to access.
The staff are friendly and polite, even at 0905 in the morning. The breakfast pictured was extremely tasty and reasonably priced, maybe a bit on the expensive side (but that's comparative to a cheaper cafe). The cappuccino was nice too.
I would and will come back here again soon, maybe with a better camera to take a picture of the menu
Great service and lovely atmosphere. The Full English breakfast was great, but my “American” style pancakes were definitely not the fluffy, buttermilk style pancakes that are characteristic of the traditional American style. The pancakes here are quite dense and heavy. Wouldn’t have the pancakes again, but everything else was delicious. Great portions and friendly service.
An ok place for lunch. Service is friendly and brisk, but you're urged to order from an app, so had to set an account up. The whole thing took so long, it would have been so much easier to speak to a human. So many things were missing that were on the menu I had my 3rd choice lunch.
Me and my partner had a boss breakfast each, a latte and a green one smoothie and I have to say… everything was amazing. The food tastes so much better, the atmosphere is immense and the staff make your visit so worth it.
