Understandably popular pub in a very old building. Good seating areas with interesting artifacts surrounding. Nice selection of beers and friendly staff.
Very friendly, attentive team, outstanding service and excellent food - a real treat and will certainly visit again. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening.
What a wonderful place to spend the evening. Freshly decorated and looks fantastic, wonderful curration and decor, it's had a lot of attention to the look and feel of the place. Service was welcoming, affable and professional. Food was extremely good, so much it made three courses seem the only l
An excellent cosy pub with great service and food. The beers are good too. They clearly know what they are doing with their pipes! A great mix of locals and tourists alike, with a variety of rooms for your choice. I particularly liked the brass bar and subtle lighting that enhance the 500 year old
Great local pub with proper comfy feel. Service was excellent and food was very tasty. It was perfect for cold winter afternoon.
I was served by Martin. It was my first time in Salisbury and this looked like a great place to go. Wow, I was not wrong. The service from Martin was amazing, super friendly and I felt very welcome. It was a busy night for bookings but it didn’t stop them being happy to serve me nor did it affect qu
We where only 2 nights in Salisbury but we eat both times in Peasant Inn. Great homemade kitchen with fair prices. The Pie was marvelous and the vegetables all on the spot. Even the mayonnaise was self made! God service combined with a great kitchen and fair prices. Be ensured we come back next tim
Delicious English pub food for everyone's tastes ! Perfect mains and desserts and fantastic service! Scrumptious 😍
Really nice and accommodating. Kitchen is open a couple hours for lunch at 12 and for dinner at 6, then only Sunday afternoon. Nice quiet place to get drinks all the time...Never had the nice little art on a Guinness before!
A proper pub. Friendly landlord and staff were fantastic, food was great too.
We organised a gathering here after a funeral at the nearby Salisbury crematorium. Large car park out the front was very convenient. We liked the friendly owners and staff, ambience was good. They provided a buffet style lunch for 20 and the food was good quality. Charges all reasonable. Many thank
Great evening at The Pheasant Inn. Superb food and wonderfully warm and friendly service. Great cosy atmosphere. Will be revisiting very soon. Can't wait to see that woodburner roaring.
A convivial atmosphere, in an old building with a modern twist, the bar area has a low beamed ceiling, the rear or the pub is extended, and is for dining. 4 ales are available.
A really great find, just outside the centre of Salisbury but in very easy walking. We visited with friends for a catch up over a Sunday roast, and the meat was very tender with fresh veg. Staff were very helpful and obliging We will definitely be returning
I'm not sure whether they've recently had a change of owner or chef but I've changed my original review for the better. On my recent visit I was very impressed! A charming city pub/restaurant with great food. My Ham, Egg and Chips was outstanding, good portion size with lovely quality, thickly slic
Relaxed, good food, attentive service. Exactly what a pub should be.
Great dinner composed of four fabulous light bites. We got fish cakes, baked Camembert, hummus-tzatiki-baba ganoush trio and soup. All wonderful - great flavors, HUGE portions, super prices. We visited Salisbury from Bournemouth after a walk in the local area. After researching online for a good pub, The Pheasant Inn had fantastic reviews and didn’t disappoint. We only stopped in for a few beers as were meeting friends for dinner after but the staff were super friendly, providing quick
Great place to eat Gluten free! We have now been here twice due to the great gluten free options. I have not found any other restaurant that give you a choice of 6 different desserts! The chef came out to our table and spoke to us both times. The first time she told us that they have a dedicated
