We walked to town and based on the reviews I had picked Leonardos. Upon arrival the place looked less than inviting so I almost picked another restaurant BUT decided to stick with my gut feeling and am I glad I did.
The food was yummy 😋 beyond yummy and is presented in an honest manner where taste rules over looks.
The manager was friendly, knowledgeable, honest and attentive to all his guest.
Service was quick and friendly and prices more than reasonable for the amount and quality of food you are being served.
Most dishes are made with Italian products and you can indeed taste that. And I have lived in Italy so I know.
To be honest, I would drive up from Kent again just to have dinner at Leonardos. Highly recommended!!!
Lovely food and great service! Chicken and avocado salad is big and great. Bruschetta with it for some bread is lovely
Can't comment on the food/atmosphere but I was walking past with my son on my shoulders and wasn't paying proper attention. My son banged his head on the pull out shade and the helpful staff came to check on us and even gave my son an ice cream to cheer him up. Amazing service and will definitely come for a meal at some point to pay back the kindness and generosity for my mistake!
A very nice little restaurant. Seemingly Italian with a definite South European flavour. Charming and friendly staff.
Service very good. Size of ravioli serving not as generous as it might have been. A quiet a Monday night but atmosphere was what wanted. Quiet & relaxed.
The Minestrone soup was very nice, slightly salty, but not a show stopper. The bread that came out with it was fresh and crunchy. The coffee was very strong, I had a Americano and was definitely unique taste. I personally thought it was delicious. Live music outside as well....very nice little place.
By request (at least a days notice), they will cook any Italian meal for you. Today I had Parmigiana Di Melanzane, absolutely superb. Thete are numerous new additions to their menu, many I shall have to try.
Visited in 2021 and had to go back when Salisbury. Food and service still 1st class. Will visit again next time we are in the area.

Very nice location. The food was excellent and very delicious. We had the chicken risotto and one of the calzone and they were amazing 😍 Highly recommend.
Tuesday, such a quiet night. We were the only gests. Good lovely, staff attentive and cost just right. Upstairs is a perfect spot to enjoy the entertainment in the market Square.

Amazing little find last night, tables outside on the square in the sun, amazing italian food and a team member who was an entertainer as well, clearly loved his job and is an asset to the restaurant. Was also nice to see that almost all tables were full on a monday evening. And after eating there we now know why. Thank you

Outstanding, not a chain but independent Italian restaurant. A real hidden gem with authentic food,wine & that green bottled Italian beer on tap!. Great service, humorous but professional. If weather allows sit outside but pleasant inside upstairs. We visited on two occasions with consistent high standards both times.

Great space with plenty lovely seating areas inside. Nice décor. Outside patio on main square. Food nicely done. Price mid-range. One of those accessible to all places which makes you feel you've been somewhere special! Went twice in quick succession.
