We went at 1pm and the restaurant was not that busy. The food had halal options. The beef was soft and well cooked which I was pleased with. Yorkshire pudding was delicious but the veg was on the bland side. Overall would defo recommend and I would suggest you try it out . If you don’t like noise go in the morning before 3pm. Staff were very polite and accommodating.

We booked for Sunday roast and it was a really good meal. We loved the vibe of the place: eclectic mix of student friends, 80's and 90's tunes, surrounded by green nature and friendly, happy staff. It was an uplifting experience that we plan to repeat when we're back in December. One note was that it was a little on the cold side where I was sitting which was the far corner table. When I left I found the rest of the place was warmer so just that corner is very cool.

Beautiful birthday brunch with my daughter and friends. It was our first time and it did not fail to deliver!! We ordered from the a la carte menu as it made it cheaper for us non-drinkers. It is on the more expensive side, but, in my opinion, worth it!! Service was good, and our server was lovely, but the recommendation for the brunch meal was slightly off, but that was to do with her preference and those who like a much smaller meal, I think. It's wheelchair, pushchair and baby friendly which is a massive plus. The WC is a mixed one and is partitioned off by a heavy screen. The decor just blew me away as we stepped into the Firefly and at the back of the restaurant there is a big space for large parties and a huge wall of screens which had scenery videos playing. Great music played in the background which added to the ambience. I definitely would have a dinner/party/brunch or breakfast here. We will be going again. Thank you for the wonderful experience 😁

We went for the Sunday Roast, the lamb was stunning and tender, the whole meal was beautifully presented, the sticky toffee pudding was delicious. Reasonably priced for the quality of food. The atmosphere and decor is fantastic, the only down side was the loud music, but if you want a more casual dining experience with good drinks and food you should check it out. The server was on point as well.

Not been out since prior to the pandemic and having a baby and as soon as entering bartender Daniel made me feel like I’d entered a VIP bar. Atmosphere was amazing due to him and his peers. Already booked a table for next week

Wow! What a venue, so beautiful! & wonderful attentive staff to complement it. The dancers are so brilliant, music, so fun and uplifting! Drinks are great for a bottomless. The food was tasty, but a little letdown by how you couldn't accommodate my friend with a common food allergy & the notice period made it too late to make adjustments. This could be mentioned at the time of booking to avoid disappointment. Apart from that amazing day & would love to be back for another event! Thank you for starting my birthday week off in style!

If you’re keen on celeb-spotting, this is the place to go. Known as @foodwellmcr during the day and @fireflymcr by night, our first thoughts were ‘wow this is stunning inside’. We went during Foodwell times and had the option to order brunch or lunch. We ordered some popular options and got ‘The Lady in Red’ (£9), the Mango Achaar Pork Ribs (£10), Chunky Guacamole w. Blue corn chips (£7), Tempura Nobashi Prawns (£12) & of course cocktails. The sushi was delicious, the pork was great too, it was quite sweet and fell off the bone when barely touched. We weren’t as much a fan of the tempura prawns, they were really oily and salty. The guacamole was lovely and fresh but we did find that there was barely any blue corn chips. Initially when we entered, the hostess wasn’t overly welcoming, instead she was a bit abrupt (she showed us our table by putting the menu’s down and walking off without saying a word) but we put this down to them being busy from a function. However, this was quickly fixed by the excellent service from our waiter, Oliver. He was incredibly friendly and happily gave us recommendations when we asked. He also overheard us say to each other that we wanted more corn chips for the guacamole and he immediately went and got us some more. We couldn’t have asked for better service at our table. Whilst we were eating lunch, there was a large group of some well-known TV faces having a birthday function. We won’t say more but Foodwell definitely seems like a go-to place. With that in mind, the prices were slightly high (we only ordered small plates) so be prepared if you’re ordering lots of dishes and multiple cocktails. Came for bottomless brunch and the service was fantastic and the drinks flowing. The DJ and atmosphere were great and loads of fun, and the place is beautiful. For the price, the food was just OK (hence the 4 stars) but the drinks and everything else made up for it. Would definitely come again!

Absolutely delicious brunch. Really interesting options with a good attention to detail. Nice vegan and vegetarian options as well as meat. Staff were super helpful and arranged high quality gluten free bread on request to cater for allergies. Coffee was exceptional quality too.

The moment we have entered the restaurant we fell in love with the interiors. It is absolutely beautiful 😍 modern, GREEN🌿and fresh😍 But the most important thing was FOOD obviously 😉 and that didn't disappoint either. There were few items missing from the menu which I think the restaurant could work a little harder to get (it's my second visit on the first visit there was so many items missing we changed the venue). However what we got was really good. The satay chicken burger with papaya slaw was a perfect combination of sweet and salty. It melts in your mouth my favourite dish 🤤 for Kamil it was the pinacolada french toast that he couldn't get enough of. It was filled with fresh coconut and grilled pineapple not mention it was absolutely beautiful 😍you eat with your eyes that's a FACT 🤷 The starters we had were tempura prawns with sriracha mayo and some freshly whipped hummus. So much flavour and quality ingredients on tinny plate 🙌well done🙌 The least favourite was the beef brisket waffles. It was dry really dry and lacking flavour. We were missing maybe some good old fashioned maple syrup? Or any sweet&sour sauce that would make this dish complete 🤔 Regardless the one dish that we were not huge fan of the experience was great. Their service is outstanding massive thank you to Natalie who always made sure we have everything we need😍 there is still a lot more that we want to try so we certainly will be returning 🎉
