Hong Kong Choi - Salford - Photo album

I visited here after all the hype to see what it's all about. There were handwritten signs on the door which said we needed to make a reservation to attend. We did not know this as we don't remember seeing it mentioned anywhere else. Luckily, they were able to accommodate us. I enjoyed my red bean d
Consistency at its best, when talent comes along with plenty of effort, what an excellent job offering the majestic Hong Kong style dishes. I have been here twice, but it was more than a year ago since my last visit. It was around mid-February 2022 last time. Yet after tonight's meal, I can assure H
Very good Hong Kong Cafe style food. Big portions at a reasonable price. Like their milk tea.
We ordered baked Portuguese chicken rice, baked chicken rice in cream sauce, and French toast, all of them were delicious. It seemed a bit pricey, but actually the portion was huge. We only finished half of the mains, another half to go. We went on a Saturday, the restaurant got full shortly after o
Very size portions, really good food would miss out the red kidney bean, ice cream drink. Definitely needs to go back to try more of the manu.
Taste of my beloved Hong Kong right in Manchester! Best cha chaan teng food I've had outside of HK itself, and it's so hard to find in the UK.
A modern authentic HK diner. It's light and spacious inside with high ceilings. Menu items looked great and we were salivating at the thought of some lovely food. The food that did come out was great. Unfortunately quite a few items were unavailable on our visit today, and it was only lunch time. Th
It’s quite amazing to have authentic HONG KONG cuisine in Manchester. The noodle/rice dishes are all impressive.
Amazing food and lovely service. The portions are great and the dishes are so unique (lot of fusion and non usual Chinese dishes) Pictures is beef brisket curry and the Portuguese rice which are both so yummy, got a side of salt and pepper chips too.
Friendly, genuine service and absolutely delicious. Glad we decided to come on Boxing Day instead of heading into Manchester. The staff were very sweet and attentive, the portions were very generous, and I'll definitely be back. Edit: I've been 3 times now 😂 It's so delicious.
The main dishes are the best here. The drinks and desserts were nothing to shout about. But if you do have that toast with the butter be prepared to intake many calories. Service was slow and dishes came out one by one but the food is tasty
No doubt, this is the best “cha chaan teng” food in the UK. The restaurant serves very authentic Hong Kong food like Crispy Vermicelli, baked rice, French toast and ice lemon tea, with huge proportion. Each dish are really hot which arguably even better than some of the cha chaan teng in Hong Kong
Superb example of the awesomeness of Hong Kong cuisine! Portions were huge and the staff were super friendly. My peeps and I had a wonderful time tasting great dishes and reminiscing about past times in Hong Kong. So happy! Will be back! EDIT - Since last visiting this place we have experienced som
Generous portions and friendly service. It can get really busy and the food comes out slowly when it's really busy which might frustrate you if your really hungry. There is Reservations only on the weekend as every table is full to the brim. One plate of food can easily feed 3 adults. The French toa
Came to this place finally after three times trying to make reservations only to be told that the ingredients are mostly sold out!Knowing that could only be a good sign, we are ever more persistent. Certainly didn’t disappoint! The HK lemon tea and milk tea were as authentic as you could get in UK
Gorgeous food, staff and ambience. I lived in HK for a while and have really missed milk tea, ginger coke and all the staples. This is the best and most authentic food I've had for years (even in HK) , I wouldn't be surprised if this gets a Michelin star at some point. We had the French Toast, Ty
The atmosphere and service of the place was really nice, quite open and spacious surrounded with windows to let you sight see whilst eating. However the menu was a bit limited and did not contain a lot of traditional Chinese dishes for my specific needs. The food did taste nice and the prices seemed
