A lovely, welcoming cafe. Really nice, tasty, well made, well presented homemade food. A firm favourite for us and our kids! We’ve never been disappointed with the food, service or atmosphere here.
What a little gem of a place this is! Have been saying will try here for ages but just haven't got around to it. Visited halloween weekend when the cafe put on an event for children. The kids (8 and 10) really enjoyed themselves. The children ordered pizza, adults just yummy cake and we all had drinks (the mint aero hot chocolate was amazing!). Will definitely be back to visit soon!
Food was amazing, as was the service. One of the best Full English breakfasts I've ever had. Highly recommended and will definitely be going back.

We have been for breakfast, lunch, evening menu, we’ve had pizzas to take away and sometimes we even stop just for a coffee or a quick pint. Hadfields never disappoints, always delicious food. The full English is mega. Kids love the milkshakes too! Great spot so versatile, families, friends, couples. Great place to have locally.
Absoloutly love it at Hadfields! The atmosphere , staff and deco are all fantastic not to mention the amazing food. I can highly recommend breakfast my children love the pancakes and the full English is delicious. Also really enjoyed sandwiches , burgers , pizza and tapas as well as a few cheeky cocktails . Highly recommend for any occasion and it is very family friendly
Our favourite place! Hadfields is perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The owners & staff are very welcoming and friendly. We live very locally & have enjoyed most of the meals available - with the tapas & wine, pizzas & breakfasts being firm favourites. There are a wide variety of food & drink options available - to eat in or take out, with the specials board changing frequently! Food always comes hot & everything is really tasty! Fresh home made cakes available daily. Indoor & outdoor seating ( with heaters if needed!), Free WIFI, a toilet with baby changing facilities available. The cafe is child friendly, my little boy loves going & playing with the toys!
So if it’s for a date night, drinks & tapas with friends or a milkshake/Slush with the kids - Hadfields ticks all the boxes ✅✅✅.
Since my last review, thankfully the price of the kids pizza has been reviewed, and it is now a better price with a better description. Others won't pay way over the odds.
Other times we've been this little cafe bar has been great. It's a fairly regular place, and I would just say that the white wines need to be pre-chilled as putting them in an ice bucket takes too long to chill to a sensible temperature.
Highly recommend a visit here. Whether it’s for breakfast lunch or dinner. Always something tasty to chose. Kids absolutely love the pizzas and the milkshakes too.

If I was be was being picky, the music was a bit loud for a chilled Sunday and I'm deaf so hearing aid users will understand the struggle to converse with lots of background noise.
Other than that, I would recommend and definitely go again.

Hidden gem of Swinton. Pizza is above par with most good pizza places. Excellent dough and sauce, with a really good independent beer. Surprised.
