Such a lovely pub with even lovelier staff. The sound system in the upstairs venue for hire is insane and makes it perfect for all kinds of nights (from open mics to circus raves). The food is great and service quick - can't fault them and would recommend to anyone.

Lovely place for a pint in a sunny afternoon, great burgers, fantastic atmosphere. A great spot almost in the city centre of Manchester which gives you the feeling to be miles away from the city environment. All this at great prices!

Great place to go chill out and drink with mates / play pool, really inclusive and loving the "community feel" of the nights mixing in students and local residents. Tuesday night open mic night was class as well!

Nice pint of Guinness (£4.35) poured by the friendly and welcoming bar lady. Nice relaxed atmosphere and spacious seating area outside by the River Irwell, a true hidden gem in Salford. Give it a try.

Great energy and vibes, with lovely indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are exceptional and went the extra mile with their service, and the food was excellent. I would recommend the Ultimate Burgers for all the burger fans out there.

The location is great. Hidden away from Chapel Street and all the traffic. A walkable distance from Manchester city centre and a great local pub for Salford residents. Good selection of beer and a pretty beer garden near the river. They also play sports on TV and have events upstairs (last time we went there was a metal ish band playing)

Great pub tucked away with great views! Staff were great, barman knew his stuff and pints were great! Picturesque setting down by the river, great for a relaxing pint. Welcoming & cozy inside. Didn't get chance to try the food, but hope to on the next visit.

A fantastic pub with a great atmosphere and a superb team of lovely guys and gals behind the bar (and a very talented chef as the food was yummy too!). A wonderfully kind guy who worked there actually advised me on where best to find accommodation as I was completely stuck (and probably looking a bit stressed!) after missing a flight, I was so grateful. Thank you! ❤️ xx

Very nice obliging owner or manager. Very friendly went out of his to sort my food and came out and asked me first. View is beautiful. Crazy mix of customers and furniture. I will be frequenting more. Add a few guest cask ales and it would the best pub in the world lol

Lovely pub... to spend time outside of on a hot day. Not terrible organised and we had to queue for ages to get drinks each time. They were chronically understaffed. The fisticuffs we caught the tail end of was something of an aberration too. Never had that before. But all in all it was comfortable, quiet and a pleasant afternoon in the sun was had by all.

Was visiting a friend who recently moved to Salford and thought we’d pop down for a few pints on friday, 14/07/23. The atmosphere is great, casual vibes but still very clean. The barmaid who served us, she has shoulder length red hair, had good banter and knew how to pull a proper pint.

I always drive past your sign and only live 5 minutes away but had never visited as I always think you are a student pub. Now I have visited we will definitely be back. Great lunch and your bar staff were excellent.

We were looking forward to going in for food however we found it wasn't wheelchair friendly. However the member of staff behind the bar was very apologetic about this and also advised me of 2 other places near by were we would be able to get in with a wheelchair.

Decent bar with loads of space, both inside and out. All the food that kept going past looked really good! We came here at about 23:30 once and were turned away even though it said it didn’t close until 1am which was a bit annoying, but it’s a great place to go after a trip to Salford SU (or, indeed, instead of…). Barstaff are attentive!

Great pub to call in for a pint. Very Friendly bar staff & good all round atmosphere. Couple of pool tables with decent seating all around the pub. Excellent outdoor seating ( brilliant in the summer) will definitely be calling in again soon.

Great local for a young professional, good priced drinks, good priced food. The sort of pub you can lose your Saturday too sitting outside in the beer garden with a few good tunes.
