One of the best Mexican street food restaurants, always have something new to try. The butter milk chicken is to die for, you can't stop at one. Really good cocktails and fresh ingredients make the best dining experience ever. Staff are fantastic and always welcoming. Recommended!
Loved the food . Great variety of meal options for adults and kids . Quantity and quality was perfect . Everything ordered was vegetarian. Ordered fully loaded nachos , chilly bean burger , veg fajitas , cauli bombs and kids meal . Everything was perfect and delicious . Quantity is huge . Desserts were also amazing . Kids friendly . Worth every Penny ! Absolutely recommend .
We went here for aย birthday meal. We had found a voucher online for a really good discount. We though that we'd get smaller portions etc but we were very pleased with the food and service we received. Try the Nachos sharer it's amazing.
Went for dinner early on a Saturday night. Food was good, try the beer battered gherkins!. My wife had some Xmas cocktails which were really nice . Our mains were good decent size meals although I little bland. The only lying let down was the service. The place was quiet but we waited around 25-30min order seemed like our waitresses had forgotten about us and another waiter realised and took our order. This happened the whole night. We probably spent an hour in total waiting for service.

Super service, even at 11:00 pm on a Thursday night. We ended up here after a evening show at the Lowry and wasn't disappointed. We were a bit wary if they would accept us after 10:30 pm, but the waiter welcomed us in. There were more people who came after us (from the same show probably) and everyone was welcomed.ย
The menu is usual for a Mexican restaurant, they also had specials. We ordered a chicken and chorizo quesadilla to start, and it was hot and tasty. I ordered a peri-peri chicken wrap and my partner ordered a half peri-peri chicken. Both were tasty and filling. Came with lots of skin-on chips and the red cabbage coleslaw was delicious. The hotness of the food was perfect, my mouth is watering even now when I write.
The decor is typical Mexican style, they were playing good music. Just like any other Mexican restaurant, not a hugely fine-dine place, but reaches there almost. Service was warm and prompt.
Enjoyed the food, and the service, definitely coming back whenever we are coming for a show at the Lowry.

I had been here with my cousins and its a lovely place....its to die for!!! The staff are very friendly and disciplined.It has a WIFI connectivity available...you need to register first though...The food is simply amazing and delicious....If you live in the UK or anywhere...you must definitely visit this place!!!! I've been told all the Chiquito Restaurants all over are very good...personally got to experience it...Its quite expensive but the food is worth paying so much!!
I would definitely visit this place next time when I visit ย The UK.

We came to Chiquitos starving, hangry and tired after going to the gym and boy did we have a great experience. We were served by an asian man who seemed like he may be the manger whose service was excellent and made us feel looked after, which took me by surprise having such bad experiences with staff in greater manchester of late.
The food was excellent with a lot of authentic options you won't find places like barburitos for example. The portions were also decent as they should be for the price and left me in a small food coma, I especially recommend trying the chimichanga if you never have before. We also ordered from the 2 for 1 cocktails menu which were fantastic treat to end the meal that tasted fresh and vibrant.
Also there's lots of different seating options surrounded by fantastic decor, the music on top of this creates an infections atmosphere that will have you grabbing one of the many mexican hats and getting more in touch with your humorous side. It's a fun place and the consistent evening soft lighting helps one relax amongst a group of friends so you can express yourself and have fun. Chiquito is pricy so maybe it wont become a regular venue for you but a group of friends on a birthday will have a fantastic time with jokes laughter and great food.
Lastly if you love rum they have ALOT of it looking at you Jack Sparrow

I can't comment on the meat options being vegan that a few reviewers seems to have a big issue with or a lot of the seemingly bad staffing issues given it was a quiet day on my visit.
We were hungry after a long day of travel and Chiquito was across the street from our hotel. I had the Chicken Baja Bowl, Pornstar Martini and the Brownie Baked Banana. I enjoyed my drink and dessert more than my entree.
We picked this place last minute because it's close to the stadium and we're pleasantly surprised. The food and margaritas were amazing. We ordered a bunch of street food and highly recommend that option. We are Hispanics from Miami, FL in the states and tough critics sometimes, but this place is on point. The service was a little slow, hence the missing star, but overall a good experience.
I'm quite a fan of this restaurant in Salford Quays. It's situated just off the main road, and is surrounded by another couple of well known restaurants, including a Frankie and Benny's.
There is a car park for use by all the restaurants but I've never experienced it to be full, even when all of the restaurants are busy. The tram stop to Eccles is literally right outside so public transport is always an option!
The service has been quite good here in my past experiences; and the staff have always been pleasant.
The food is tasty and even on a busy night we didn't have much of a wait. We felt sufficiently filled up by the end of our meal and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who fancied something a bit different.

Decent Bar on the quays to call in for a pint. I'm not sure about the food these days has this was my first visit after a good while and also man utd were at home so I was just having a couple of drinks. Staff were friendly and quick serving. A bit pricey on the beer side but a comfortable atmosphere so I would call in again no problem.

We decided to have breakfast in Chiquito's.
The atmosphere was lovely, the member of staff who served us was helpful & pleasant, who did check backs to see if we were happy.
The vegetarian breakfast I had was very tasty, it had scrambled eggs, mushrooms, peppers, hash browns, beans & toast served in a hot skillet. My wife are the meat version and it too was attractively served and tasty.
A very enjoyable experience & yes I put a sombrero on!! ๐

Had a wonderful celebration of my son's engagement. Private party held on the premises, the atmosphere was great the lighting was just right very romantic to suit the occasion. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the buffet was yummy. Everyone really enjoyed the occasion couldn't have asked for better
Good service, good menu choices and good quality food which was served hot and was very tasty. Parking is chargeable but reasonably priced, I assume a few people have been caught out in the past because Chiquito have put a notice on each table warning patrons to make sure they pay for the parking. It is just as well as it's not obvious otherwise and certainly not expected.
Went here because it was the day before holiday and didn't want to leave anything spare in the fridge. We ordered a few starters and I ordered a main of fried chicken and pulled pork. It was a nice Sunday afternoon so it was quiet. I went with my girlfriend but I see it being very family friendly. We were given efficient service and I also noticed the waitress interacting more with some families, in particular the children and offering to take their hats away for free, this was nice and I can imagine the parents feeling less stressed because the children are behaving. I wanted desserts but at home and asked for takeout which was available. Great for me!
Great food and polite service. One member of staff was excellent, a young Latino boy with curly hair. His performance was great, he was working everywhere and was extremely polite to me and my family. Would recommend to anyone .
Lovely experience every time we come here, the enchiladas are absolutely amazing! Five star customer service, especially from our server Robyn. She was so lovely and helpful - had a smile on her face the whole time. Will definitely be returning!
