Nice dinner
The selection of food is good and slightly unusual - I had the tempura monkfish with tarka dahl, which was great! Good service and a well-designed interior.
Visiting our friend, she selected this restaurant. What a delight. Plain simple dishes packed with taste and beautifully served.Attentive and helpfull staff. Shall look forward to our next visit.
The Lime Bar in Manchester at the Lowry outlets serves some lovely food but is certainly more of a bar as the name suggest the quality of the food certainly isn't secondary but it isn't a relaxed dining experience given its very nature. As long as you're aware of that you will enjoy your visit.
There's another dichotomy too. The menu. This place really isn't quite sure what its trying to be. There Italian, Asian,Mexican, quintessential English and pretty much any other genre you care to name. Just going down the mains I pick out - belly of pork, Malayan chicken, lamb tagine, piri piri chicken. See what I mean?
The food though is sublime. Really really well cooked and tasty. I had sautéed prawns and chorizo followed by the pan fried sea bass. Both courses were served really quickly and with friendly service. With a glass of wine the total bill was just over £30. The quality of the food was well worth that amount.
If you are seeing a show at the Lowry or going to the cinema or event just shopping here, this location is a great one to eat.

We went for dinner here yesterday after a long day at a conference we were attending. Great decision! Friendly and professional staff who greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. One mark of good restaurant training is when they get back to you at some point to ask if everything is OK with the food, which they did. There was a bit of a delay getting our bill but it didn't really matter as we were enjoying our time chatting. I ordered the spicy squid for starter -- it was one of the best ones I've had (and I love squid). Perfectly cooked and well-seasoned, crispy and tender. Good portion size too. For my mains, I had The Spider sushi, consisting of soft-shelled crab and avocado. Delicious and filling! Their poke bowls are great too. Beautiful plating as well. They both have western and Japanese and Japanese fusion selection. Highly recommended!
Great place! Bar service great, booked a table requested a booth, but too busy,
At table service, waiting a little longer than normal, but expected as busy, had mushrooms on sour dough, fish and chips, grandad hot dog all foods spot on!!
Second visit, slight change in the starter mushrooms, missing few bits from last time, shame....
Really good. Came here with 28 people for a works do. Was recommended the buffet option for a large group. Food quality, quantity and service were amazing. Everyone commented how great it was.
Good service and variety of food prices are good as well, we tried the sushi and the crispy pork belly which were very tasty, even in a match day the service was pretty fast which honestly was unexpected in a very good way.
The burger was really tasty the right size
Food was amazing, Sky sports on, good range of drinks. I think i've found my new favourite place when working away in Manchester
Great little spot to watch sports and have a drink or bite to eat after uni or work. We usually come here on a Wednesday afternoon and the vibe is great. It’s nice when busy and nice when quiet. I never knew it was a sushi bar for a while, but it functions well as a boozer and a place for food!
Staff are great and helpful.
Visited whilst away for a gig with my daughter at the O2 Victoria Warehouse. We went for the Pan Asian Unagi menu and weren't disappointed. Good choice of beers and drinks, service was friendly and attentive, atmosphere in the bar was great. Would go again 👍
Great venue to meet up with friends before United games. Plenty of seating if you get in early. Large TV screens showing sports events. Large selection of beers to try. A little bit pricey buy you have to expect it due to location. Service quick due having plenty of staff on during match days.
We have visited three times since foodunagi has joined and this place started to offer the best sushi in Manchester. The food is always outstanding in this place their cocktails are absolutely delicious, my favourite is the lychee daiquiri 🤤 however the service is not that great. The aim of this review is to say that they have dramatically improved since our first visit so I have high hopes for this place to move from 4 stars to 5 soon. Currently there is still work to do, expect delays on food and some missing items but in my opinion as long as the waitress inform you about this beforehand like they did on our last visit is the key to good service. First visit- no attention, no side plates rather rude service we have raised this. Second attempt massive improvement. And on our third visit it was almost perfect. They waitress was kind , funny, apologetic but mainly she was keeping us up to date and gave us options. The manager was extremely nice, acknowledged all the issues and even offered additional discount as compensation. He also had a simple chat with us and when the business is busy that's what really appreciated the time he dedicated to us. That one minute be dedicated to us was very appreciated, and showed good customer service skills. One thing if the restaurant read this review is to work on the time when customer asks for the bill. On every single occasion we had to wait a long time and if someone is asking for bill that means they are ready to go and don't want to be wasting their time sitting around, it's frustrating. Overall happy with the place because they seek to be the best and improve. Highly recommended
Definitely now my favourite bar in Manchester, very classy insides, fantastic music and the outdoor seating area is really nice. Food was delicious, definitely some of the best if not the best sushi I've ever had. Ian and crew were incredible throughout the night, would happily go back. Cheapest shots in media city easily and they don't skimp out on filling up each glass
Been here a few times now and it doesn't disappoint. Staff always pleasant and helpful, best thing is that they have large screens with football on so it's a good place to go watch the match.
Good friendly service and very tasty and satisfying brunch portions. Fantastic sausages and creamy scrambled egg for the full English. Crispy bacon too.

A really pleasant place to have a work meeting and meal. A very tasty range of food on a varied menu.
Great level of care from the staff too.
It was so refreshing to have chilled bear in this hot weather. Nice place and good seating area outside too. Inside nicely decorated and clean. Staff is friendly. Things are bit expensive though, but overall it was good experience. 👍
