Gorgeous meal with my sister last night - staff were welcoming and great with us when we realised the meat was missing from my sisters meal and they quickly arranged a new plate to be made
First time in a Wagamama, the food was delicious, the staff were friendly and down to Earth, great value, delicious beer, perfect for a prequel to a Kim Wilde gig at The Lowry, highly recommend.
I am usual a regular visitor to media city wagamama and must say this was the most enjoyable. I have just visited with my friend. Absolutely fabulous service! Lovely staff ensure we had very thing we need. Would definitely recommend.
Friendly staff
We went for lunch here with our friends. All the staff were very friendly and courteous with a smiley face.
I had Chicken Katsu curry but to be honest not very impressed at all. The dish was plated like fried chickens at the bottom, a lump of rice on top the chicken and curry sauce poured on top. The sauce tasted like standard curry sauce which we get in a normal Chinese takeaway.
I did not feel like dish had any speciality apart from curry a curry sauce and a bowl of rice
Wagamama in Salford has a very nice ambience, probably part of being in the heart of MediaCity UK.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
I love my usual prawn kushiyaki, the sauce that marinated the prawns is so tasteful.
Chili squid is a must for chilli lovers. All the rest of the dishes are really good.
We had a great meal at this Wagamama. Excellent service, and delicious food. The portions are generous, so we were all very full!
We had gyoza to start, followed by pork belly ramen, tonkatsu, and duck donburi dishes, as well as one children's menu selection of breaded chicken with rice.
Wagamama can't be ignored, mostly because of the way it is spread across key locations in London and Manchester.
On our way back from the Old Trafford tour and while exploring the Salford Quays, we were hit hard by hunger pangs which took us to the Lowry Outlet Mall which has a nice range of restaurants with open air seating. We chose Wagamama because it was the only restaurant which offered a variety for our vegetarian bunch.
What did we eat?
Surendra's Curry (Veg): This was not only good looking and tempting but tasted real good with that slight coconut punch it had. Portion was huge too
Wagamama Pad Thai: The best dish of the day and a wise decision by my foodie partner here. Play safe go for Pad Thai! Really hit the right spots with this one.
Beef Ramen: Very watery in my opinion, but again thats my opinion. Wish there was more flavor in the soup! Beef portion was good though and I made good use of the sauce which came with the veggie dimsum.
Sea food ramen: I might be writing the name of the dish wrong here, but this again had very little flavor in the soup. Maybe thats how it is supposed to be, but lesson learnt!
A very 50-50 experience, but not too disappointed, as the Buddha beer was a new brew for me :)
The food was very flavourful and a nice, quick treat for the weekend. Portion could be better for the price and quality of the food.
I got the miso mackerel and wish the rice was a sticky sushi or jasmine rice as it would have a nicer taste, but really enjoyed the fish. The "vegan ribs" was actually a nice surprise, I love the texture and the sauce had a real kick to it.
The "power" smoothies tastss good but would have been better chilled or served with ice to balance with the food, in my opinion.
We went when it was very busy but we still got seated and served very quickly. There is some issues with the table qr code to pay, only if that could be made easier?
Great service from Mel H
Our first visit to a Wagamama and Mel was super at explaining the menu and making our visit enjoyable . Super tasty food
I had a fantastic experience with Salford Quays Wagamama when I mistakenly ordered for collection at the Spinningfields branch. The staff, including both the woman and the on-duty manager, were incredibly helpful in processing a refund promptly and efficiently remaking my order. Their quick and courteous service made a potentially stressful situation easy to navigate. Kudos to the team for their exceptional customer service!
Wagamamas knows that no other chain in the UK makes Asian food as tasty or as consistently and therefore they can justify their relatively expensive menu. Their food IS good and their vegan range is massive. But I never have been there without thinking that it’s expensive!
I would go here every couple of months for this reason, assuming I didn’t find other nice places to go. But this time I had a voucher so we got loads of money off!
Absolutely amazing food, great service and very clean place 😉😊
Went to wagamama for the first time ever and it was delicious! The staff was so friendly and the food was lovely and with a nice presentation. It wasn't very hot but i guess because they tried to put all the order together, but thats a minor.I really appreciated the fact that the waitress told me if it was my first time there that "the food does come in different times" but luckily all of our order came together. The vibe was really nice and you get to see the chefs cooking and doing a good hard job. Really liked it, will be back :)
Can't go wrong with this Wagamamas. Easy to get a table, service was quick and food was nice. I had the spicy chicken ramen, perfect for lunch
Very good food and good place out sitting nice good near media city really recommended had firecracker katsu curry and ext. thank you.
I come to Wagamama regularly and I can say never disappoints!! Always nice service, friendly and helpful staff, delicious and beautifully served food!
New plant based menu is just out of this world - smoothies, small dishes, mains, have tried most of them and they are so so good! Especially Chicken buns and ribs. Love every bit of it!! Would add more desserts - for example a vegan cheesecake!
Excellent service the staff were very friendly, amazing food will definitely be coming back to try more dishes...
One of my favourite coffee places in the Manchester . Really nice atmosphere and chill place. Friendly staff, good quality food. Highly recommended.
Came for a work lunch. Was able to accommodate 12 of us fortunately however not being able to book ahead was a slight inconvenience. Food was delicious, I had the beef teriyaki, a bao bun and some gyoza. Serves my favourite beer of choice being Asahi however no Japanese whiskey which perplexed me (as most places do). Staff were friendly and helpful and food came in a timely manner.
Really nice taste Food was good, The place is small one table can fit 8 but, will be pushing to limit so, suitable for smaller groups. They don't do reservations so, need to wait for busy days.
Wagamama never disappoints! We turned up not long before closing on a Friday night and the food / staff were great. Great choice on the menu for vegans too - would recommend the vegan chilli squid!
