Had a great time here. Not the bad price considering it's cocktails with "flare" in Manchester, ~£11 each.
Worth it though, good fun drinks and knowledgeable staff. Bar snakes are bang on!!!
Will come again.
Met a friend for lunch and can’t say enough positive about the experience. Friendly staff, cool atmosphere, and amazing food. As we sat there the wait staff delivered one over the top concoction after another. One tall skinny drink bubbled over while another short wide one emerged from the fog. No idea if they were any good but they looked incredible. I got the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich with salted fries. The sriracha mayo had a little kick, pickled slaw was tangy, and the chicken was lightly breaded and fried to perfection.
After years of planning to visit the alchemist, I finally booked a table and I wish I’d been sooner. Food was incredible and the service was excellent. Even in the rain the view over the Quays and MediaCity is nice.
Overall the food was well priced for what I’d expect. For a couple, we had three courses each and two drinks each for just over £100. With Manchester getting more and more expensive it was good to see food of this quality and variety at this price.
But the value came in how well we were looked after. The staff made good suggestions and kept us happy. Highly recommend.
This is by far my favourite alchemist location! The views over Salford quays are beautiful and the food/drinks is always amazing quality. Definitely worth a visit! The vegetarian duck bao buns are so good you would think they were really duck.
First time here on Sunday, 20th August. We had had this place recommended to us and it didn't disappoint. The welcome was warm, the service was faultless and the food was delicious. Also the location looking out across the waters of Salford Quays toward MediaCityUK was quite stunning. We will definitely be going back and the next time I will definitely have one of their cocktails.
OMG!! First time to Manchester and I can't fault, the food was stunning. Staff were friendly The manager Barry was great I can't be happier. The drinks were amazing 🤩 can't recommend enough and the next time we are in Manchester we will definitely be popping in without a doubt THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN. 😊
My usual when I am in MediaCity. Food was delicious as always and I make sure to end it always with the churros, even if I personally I find the chocolate dip on the side too much. They are delicious without it because inside they have caramel already.

Nice place to eat out the service really good but find now a lot of restaurants have a reduced menu which I understand within this present financial crisis but yeah overall the atmosphere was pretty good resident dj with friendly staff and good service
A lovely relaxed place to enjoy cocktails & food, both inside or outside. For those who like the outside there are heaters for when that chill comes!
Inside is so relaxed with dull lighting and great atmosphere.
This is the first time I've had food from here. I was not disappointed! Food was incredible from the burger to the chorizo & cheese balls. I could of ate it all again!
Great selection of beers and cocktails from your basic ones to most unique.
Lovely friendly staff especially behind the bar and quick service even with food
