From start to finish really good food and service we went for afternoon tea for my wife's birthday. At £16 a head a bargain and really good value for money more than enough food. First we got coffee or tea then five finger sandwiches the scones and jam with ample clotted cream then desserts. This married with ample drinks and great service would highly recommend. What made our visit even better was the fact that the chef hand crafted a cake for my wife's birthday enough for the five and it was very yummy and at a cost of £15 well worth it! Again it was great and will be going back again when compared with other afternoon teas which myself and wife have tried was really good value for money! Regards John

A slightly surprised five star review. We had booked a pre concert dinner. Didn't expect too much. Ice cold water served straight away. We didn't have starters. I had roaster onion risotto with chilli jam. Absolutely delicious. My dessert was a peanut butter cheesecake with raspberry- again delicious. My partner had excellent cod loin and a chocolate pear mousse. Very good meal. I might have deducted a star for having to pay extra for chips and other side orders - including bread. But the quality of the meal just won me over. Excellent service too. Recommended.

Called in for a pre theatre meal. The food was excellent and the service friendly and attentive. We were on the set menu - plenty of choice and the food was beautifully cooked. We will definitely est there again on our next visit to the Lowry.

Amazing food and service. Couldn’t do enough for us. Catered for my gf requirements and we were able to return to our table for interval pudding and drinks! Delicious food and would certainly go back.

Was here yesterday having a pre theatre lunch. Food was tasty for the adults but Niece didn’t like the extra think pizza from the kids menu and to be fair it didn’t look very appetising. We all enjoyed the desserts and the service and setting was fantastic. Loved that we could go back for drinks in the interval. Our waiter was lovely and understood that we needed to leave for the show. Would dine here again when attending a show again!

Had a fabulous time Pier Eight. The food was exceptional and the service was of the highest standards. The staff couldn't do enough for us - even when we asked for the air conditioning to be turned down! I can't wait to go back.

Had afternoon tea yesterday with my mum, and was the first time we had visited. Must say, the best afternoon tea I've ever tasted!! It was presented in a modern way and was beautiful. The staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely views, lovely modern interior. Definately going again and thinking about booking for my birthday in March and bringing my husband and dad this time. Highly recommended!

Fabulous afternoon tea with my mum & niece yesterday before we went to the theatre to watch the curious incident of the dog in the night-time. So worth the money we paid too. Will definitely come again!!

Really great restaurant attached to the Lowry Theatre in Salford. We had purchased the VIP package with some theatre tickets and it's really worth every penny! You get a glass of prosecco on arrival, three courses of food (you choose from a menu), a bottle of wine to share between two of you and a hot drink to finish. You can either have everything before the meal or save a glass of wine/your dessert for the interval. The food was delicious and the service was excellent, would definitely recommend!

Excellent dining, the soup was like Lava! So careful folks 🙂 🙃 but, all in all, a lovely experience. Located next to the Lowery Theatre, it can be a lovely part of a night.

Lovely restaurant, with nice atmosphere, friendly attentive staff. Food on the face of it looks like you don't get enough, but the meals are deceptive and there is certainly enough to eat. The quality of the food and the presentation is superb. It is expensive, especially when you start adding extras and wine etc, but for a special occasion before a good show it is a great place to eat. Certainly would recommend.

Great place to eat and drink before going to the theatre next door. Choice of restaurant or bar meals, both looking very inviting. We went for the bar option, couple of side orders and 2 mains, all very nice and not long to wait either. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well, good night out.
