Fantastic pizza! I had the Napoli and it was cooked to perfection. All the toppings were super fresh, and the dough itself was incredibly tasty. We also picked up a garlic bread which had the same quality dough, and the garlic oil was perfect - just the right amount of garlic. The owners are really friendly and great to chat to, and it’s really well priced for such a quality product. I can’t wait to go back and try something else from the menu, but with the same garlic bread!

I have never tasted pizza as good as this anywhere. The ingredients are top class. Theres nothing processed about it. All fresh and delicious. The couple that run this place are so nice and friendly. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else in Manchester for a pizza. Well worth a try.

We sampled 4 x dough project pizzas on Saturday night and were blown away by the quality. Whilst picking them up, and interrogating the owners, It turned out they spent two months in Florence learning the art of pizza making. That time was definitely time well spent! I can thoroughly recommend dough project....they are a great addition to sale!

Tried out the new pizza place after reading the review in Manchester Confidential and as Sale locals. We loved the pizza, really flavoursome tomato sauce, top quality toppings ie fresh anchovies which was so nice to see (and taste). The base was great too, thin, crispy but also had that chewy sourdough texture in the crust, it held it’s own with the sauce and every bit was enjoyable. Staff and owner were really great too. They apologised for delay in pizzas as they were busy but they didn’t need to because it was worth the wait. We will be back for sure.

Fantastic pizza and top notch service. The owners and staff are always really friendly. Can't recommend this place enough. Also try the brownies because they are the best brownies I've ever had.

Wow, excellent pizzas! Can't believe we've lived in Sale for so long and not tried the Dough Project until now. The 4 cheese is amazing, will definitely be supporting them from now on instead of the other big brand pizza places.

Just walked past on the off chance after seeing it a few times when we’ve driven through town, warm and friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere when walking in. They were really helpful and though we stared aimlessly at the pizza board they were quick to help us make the cheapest option which is rare in most cases but we appreciated that they wanted us to have the best option for us. They quickly made the pizza from scratch in 7-8 minutes and presented it to us in a really nice box. We sat inside and wolfed down the pizza hardly speaking a word. We regret not getting two now and I can hardly finish a whole pizza to myself. It was really tasty! Dominos or supermarket pizzas give me a bad stomach but it was fresh and the ingredients were great. I’d 100% recommend this place and will be going again soon! Love Briony & Sam

Okay, let it be known first that I am fussy. I like a simple Neapolitan pizza with flavour. Tonight I had a Funghi with truffle oil from the Dough Project which was really exceptional. These guys aren’t going through the motions, they are clearly passionate about what they do and you can taste that passion in every slice. Thanks guys, we’ll be back again soon.

Really delicious pizza the wood fire kind, the kind we had been dreaming of over lockdown. The variety of the menu seemed good and the flavours we delicious. Definitely be returning in the future!

By far the best pizza in Manchester! Never order from anywhere else again. Massive fan. You can even order them from a gin bar across the way so have a drink while you wait.

Please come to Dough Project. This is my invitation to the good folk of Sale, Manchester and beyond. The pizzas are amazing, a treat for italian cuisine aficionados. All the ingredients are authentic and excellent quality. Each pizza has its own unique personality (nduja hit being my favourite) which tempts your tastebuds like a mythological mermaid enchanting mariners from days of yore.

Amazing quality food! We tried the Pollo Con Funghi and Mozzerella Garlic Bread the taste is perfect! Will definitely be visiting again. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We will 100% be trying one of their homemade brownies again. 5* review from me, hope to see you all again soon. Thankyou!

Been a couple of times and the pizzas are amazing! Even have tins of San Marzano tomatoes to buy! Couldn't recommend more.
