On a nostalgia fest, as I came here as a toddler and youngster decades ago with my family. Very popular place.

I didn't eat in as only start serving at 12 and the bar staff couldn't tell me (or ask) what was vegetarian. I had a lovely hot Latte.

Nice place to visit on a sunny day being able to sit in the large beer garden under the canopy. Food isn't great, i ordered a tuna panini, was OK nothing great about it and the same with the pizza, this looked like it was made with a tortilla base very thin and oily. Great place to take your dog. Good walk followed by very dog friendly and relaxed pub.
I’ve been here before, but never been caught by such heavy rain. Sarah (the assistant manager) is fantastic. She let people in when it was absolutely pouring down and everyone was able to keep cosy. Staff and management are all fantastic and friendly.

Free parking if using pub if not just £6 for 24 hours lovely walk next to pub along river Mersey very small bit not main bit.
Very user friendly large beer garden, dog area, kids play area.
Lovely lunch soup and sandwiches nice end to our few days back in Manchester
