Considering it was a very loud and busy Friday night, the service was fast and friendly. The only table we could find had not yet been cleared, but it was cleared as soon as we sat down. Our food arrived quickly - the portions were rather small considering the recently increased prices, but tasted good. I'd come back here, especially on a less busy evening.

Finished a night out in this small Spoons. Good real ale selection. Pint of Peerless Hops and Glory and a pint of Moorhouse's Straw Dog. Handy for Sale Metro. Both £2.10. Sadly already used all my 50p off vouchers.

Funny mezzanine building but does not distract from an all round good atmosphere. Kev the manager is a abit of a spoons legend, and, its no surprise the beer range has been reanimated since he arrived. Top spoons and top staff 👌🏻

Last drink in a great value pub. Glass of red wine. Uber home. What's better than that. PS. Next time I will be here for a few more beers reasonably priced.

Went in the afternoon for lunch, all good. Kind staff, clean venue. I had the steak menu and it was good, chips where nice but there's definetly room for improvement to cook them better!

Overall good experience of food and service but it's more on british eateries and lack of Indian tastes.

Swung by whilst supporting runners in the marathon, really close to the route and tram stop. Friendly staff even though we were only there for a quick brew and to use the facilities. Menu looked varied and good collection of beers

I went here in the morning as had to drop my car off round the corner for an MOT. It's a wetherspoons so you sorta know what you are going to get, but there are wetherspoons and then there are wetherspoons..... This one thankfully was a good one. Say in a window seat, ordered breakfast and a drink, opened my laptop and got on with work for about 3 hrs. Staff were friendly then left me alone. Service was prompt and food was good. Had a good selection of bar drinks, plenty draught and bottled and enough selection of low and alcohol free. Place was cosy with upstairs seating, clean and tidy. It's right in the centre of Sale so conveniently located. Will definitely use this place again when over this way. Only gave it 4 stars on atmosphere as is was only there in the morning so was quiet so my visit may have been unrepresentative of a Friday or Saturday night. I was there for somewhere to work for a few hours.

I have frequented this amazing venue JP Joules on many occasions recently . The service level is completely unparalleled , and the professionalism of The Bar Team of JP Joules , is of the highest possible standard . The food is always hot and freshly served , and arrives at the table , where ever I am sat , promptly . Team JP Joules , you should all be very proud of yourselves . See you for breakfast in an hour or so . I really can’t thank you all enough x

Excellent pub! Once we arrived a staff explained everything about the procedure of the social distancing, the form to fill, etc, then he helped us to our table. The order came very quickly, and again a very nice staff. The place is awesome with very nice decoration, and clean tables. We had a very nice time! Thank you

As always with 'Spoons you get an interesting selection of regularly changing ales and beers. Due to the Joule being very popular, and well located, seating can be hard to come by when it's busy, but there is overspill seating upstairs so don't rely on a poke of the head round the door to guage it. The staff here are great. Very friendly, attentive, and care about their customers, their work, and their beers. They will happily offer a taster before buying, or a top up once the head settles after pulling the pint. I have never eaten a full meal here, but have had a bowl of chips from time to time. Sometimes they come out piping hot, sometimes just warm. Seems to be a bit of a lottery.
