Great fish and chips. Comfortable seats and lots of room. Nice staff. Price reasonable.
To be honest maybe should drink in here more, traditional pub, staff friendly, lovely outdoor bit at the back, great to see a bowling green in use, so many pubs have lost them over the years. Food looks OK.
Friendly pub with friendly bar staff. Didn't have food, but what I saw looked nice. Lovely beer garden with lots of tables.

Attended a Rotary meeting in the private side room which is curtained off on Tuesdays. Dinner was tasty and promptly served.
I realised that I was in the same room where I'd held my hen night in 1966 and the contrast was enormous. Then, it was stark, nicotine strained, smokey and had a reputation for serving cheap but weak beer. Complements to the present manager & staff

We had my mum's funeral reception here yesterday. Buffet food was good , including very freshly made sandwiches. Prompt service at the bar. We had the reception room at the back overlooking the bowling green. Paul, Sam & all the the staff looked after our group. Can definitely recommend the pub & would happily book here again.
Great Holt's pub. Believe it used to have a reputation but that's in the past. Love it. Big and roomy. Clean, bright, great beer garden. Friendly staff and locals. Excellent beer. Enjoyed my visit.

Large, busy and friendly pub with great staff. There's always something going on, from charity comedy nights to firework displays. The pub's busy in an evening and is great for couples, groups or even just to grab a drink alone. Great food menu too, and reasonable prices. Paul and his team are superb. Recommend.
