Fabulous food and service. Visited with family for my dad's birthday today and couldn't fault a thing. There were 7 of us including a baby and even baby was catered for with slices of orange and cucumber to keep him occupied whilst we ate our meals. We all ate from the early bird menu and everything was delicious. The waiters couldn't have been more helpful and even decorated the table for the occasion. Would recommend a visit to everyone.

This is my favourite restaurant in Sale. Absolutely superb cuisine, friendly staff and outstanding value early diner menu. The food is exquisite, presented beautifully and every course is a taste sensation.

Been wanting to go here for a while now and finally went to celebrate my wife's birthday. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to our 2 children. Food was glorious, and couldn't fault anything. We all enjoyed it very much, and the house wine ( red ) with the meal was lovely too. We'll definitely be going back again...... thanks guy's for a fantastic first visit...... ��
Never disappointed
If you go for the £10 early dinner then make sure your hungry as these aren’t small portions. Excellent food, the ribeye s could be a meal on their own. We will be back soon.
There are number of Italian restaurants in Sale promoting 2 or 3 course early diner meals. They are all good and definitely value for money, but Borrello is definitely the best. @£13.95 for a 3 course meal with lovely tasting food and heartfelt service, they really can't be beat. The atmosphere is cosy but not trying to pack you in like sardines in other early bird diners in Sale that we've tried. They didn't rush you to get in another sitting too. The food was tasty and well presented. Overall this is a great budget friendly local Italian worth repeated visits
Absolutely incredible experience. I’ve lived in Sale for many years, yet as soon as we sat down, tasted the food, and experienced the incredible service, we were transported to Italy! Lovely meal, great ambience and music, but still so accessible transport-wise, would definitely recommend to anyone. It’s amazing in every aspect and I can’t overstate the quality of the good; my friend and I just looked at each other after the first bite!
Ate out here a few weeks ago. Excellent cleanliness. Friendly atmosphere and an affordable early bird menu.

We've been going here for more years than I can recall this latest visit found a pleasent change . The lasagne has a different and lovely flavour. The garlic bread had a crunch to it , definitely a new base since our last visit. Great atmosphere and lovely attentive staff.

Best restaurant in sale, great value big portions and reasonably priced. Their early bird special is too good to be true, bring cash. Other reviews have already given the place enough praise and its all real.
This place is a real gem. Been twice in the last week, food excellent, had the best spaghetti bolognaise ever tonight. Staff fantastic and great value for money.

Finlay and the team are always so welcoming (sorry, I misplaced where everyones names were written down! ) We have been here a few times and thoroughly enjoy the Early Bird Menu. Generous portions, lots of variety and great service. Very relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend this Italian restaurant a minute walk from Sale Metrolink stop.

We had a meal here a few weeks ago, there were 4 of us. Wonderful service from all the staff, they all wanted to make the experience as good as it could be. We had a bottle of wine, some cocktails and beers as well as a pizza, lasagne, lobster ravioli, a side salad and mozzarella with tomato and balsamic glaze. Delicious (especially the lasagne and ravioli!!) and great portion sizes. The service was quick and the waiters and waitresses were very friendly and chatty. We had a friend join us much later just for a drink and they had no issues pulling an extra seat up. The food was great value for money as well as the drinks, I would definitely recommend!

Wow! We had an amazing dinner, and rather by accident. We were trying to drop in at Rudy’s to celebrate some spontaneous good news, but hadn’t made a reservation. Feeling a little gutted, we happened upon Borrello while heading back to Sale High Street…
The food was amazing! The pan-fried prawns were deliciously zesty and crisp, and the stewed ribs were just so flavourful and hearty; just beautiful!
I had a Mushroom Risotto with Truffle Oil, and my partner had the catch of the day (Lemon Butter Sole with Truffle Chips). Aside from feeling so fancy, the flavours were all perfectly and delicately balanced.
My partner finished her meal with fudge cake and ice cream, which she polished off neatly. I was way too full for dessert.
The portion sizes are big, in my opinion, but the food tasted so good we put away the lot with no problem. My eyes feel like they’re about to pop, but I’m very satisfied. Excellent service, great atmosphere (lovely decor - the walls are impressive) and reasonably priced too for the experience.
