The Victoria Inn - Salcombe - Photo album

Called in for dinner on Wednesday but fully booked! So booked for Friday, promised a nice table in the window and that's exactly what we got! Lovely location just near the harbour - could see the sea! Food was great (Hake & Chips + Fish Pie from the specials), excellent Rattler cider and Malbec win
Great value pub for lunch with friends. Located in the middle of Salcombe. Easy online booking process for groups up to 8 people with reassuring confirmation. Staff very friendly and a wide choice on the menu at reasonable prices.
Thank you for the great experience we had at Victoria Inn. We had our dinner there for our anniversary. We had a nice table as requested and were greeted with sparkling wine on arrival. Staff were very friendly and responsive, food delicious, good choice of wines. Highly recommended.
Visited for lunch - the food was very nice and appears to be freshly made, not your typical pub chain food. While I was a bit skeptical when getting crisps instead of chips with my chicken wrap, I think that was the right call as there was plenty of foliage to eat alongside the (very delicious) wra
Beautiful large and cosy room, with a Coffee machine which is a rare treat! We parked in a 24 hour car park which was a short walk. Our room was ready for us when we arrived and we had such a lovely Welcome. The young Lady couldn't have been more helpful. There's a wonderful garden here and we had
Friendly service, quick wait time. Fish and chips: triple cooked chips, really nicely battered (but bit small). Beef Burger: Really tasty and of good quality, fries threw this off a little bit overall very nice. Vegetarian beetroot wrap: tasty, of good size and tasty. Overall, nice lunch, nice pub d
Excellent dinner - four of us came in to celebrate an engagement. Food delicious and service excellent. Recommended to parents and they will be going there shortly.
The Victoria Inn is located right on the harbour across from the short term parking. You can eat inside or outside and upstairs with a good view of the water. The lunch menu was varied between hot and cold as well as vegetarian and vegan choices. We had the plowman's and the prawn baguette. The food
We went in and had some dinner and the fish and chips were lovely, however the batter was slightly too thick and hard! Delicious either way!
We ate at the Victoria Inn on 18th June 2023. The beer (Tribute) and wine (Zinfandel) were very nice and the food, in the main, was lovely. The fish and chips and mackerel were very nice; however the vegetarian Tofu Tikka Masala was a bit disappointing (lacked a bit of flavour). On the whole thou
Really enjoyed the food and service. We had a lovely table in the restaurant with views over the harbour. Lovely place to stop for lunch.
Great pub in the centre of Salcombe. Recommend booking due to how busy it gets. Food was good, a little expensive but expected due to location.
Nice establishment and plenty of outdoor sitting, nice and cosy inside with sea views from there first floor eating area, not bad variety on the menu but portions not large so more for the smaller appetite, but in saying that still good value for money, staff very friendly 😀
