Went for mother's day dinner. Loved the food, and service was excellent even though they took their time to bring food to the table. A bit of a long wait but we weren't bothered as we live local. Be ready to tip as it's embarrassing to press 'No' when the payment machine asks you for it and the waiter/tress is waiting in front of you! š
Came here for a Fatherās Day meal with three others. The first thing we noticed was how LOVELY the staff were, namely Julian and Toby K (whose names I asked for to mention here!).
They were super polite and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
We ordered and the food was lovely, however sadly the one downside to this visit was the waiting times. We waited 45 mins for our starters, a further 40 mins for our mains and then 25 mins for dessert; our visit in total was over three hours which seemed quite unnecessary, although we understood it would be busy due to it being Fatherās Day. We only ever saw two chefs in the kitchen who were pushing our meals at a fairly slow and relaxed pace, with multiple waiters standing around waiting for their tableās meals to be made.
Overall a good experience, however would maybe not visit on an āoccasionā day again just due to wait times.

Ordered the mixed grill which was lovely, steak was over and more medium than medium rare. For the price you can't grumble, it didn't put me off and I'd go again.
Are party had food allergy and they gave us a well documented separate menu. This was impressive. Would go back again just for that detail.
Food is as expected for beefeater and quality was good.

Went for a family breakfast this Sunday.
I understand there are new mangers in the restaurant and kitchen. Things have greatly improve since our last visit and we had a very enjoyable breakfast. Thank you to all the staff concerned. š
I didn't get the name of the manager but he was a delight and so so helpful. I had a large group of 20 booked in for the unlimited breakfast, he did everything he could to make our visit pleasurable and got us all seats together which I thought would've been impossible. The food was amazing, well stocked and the place was fresh and clean. Will definatly be eating here again.
Lovely meal lots of options. Good quality food at an affordable price. Service started out great but got slower as night went on. Overall a great evening out.
We went there for a roast dinner on Sunday. I had the 3 meat main meal and pigs in blankets on the side which was very tasty! My fiancĆ© had the no chicken vegetarian main meal with cauliflower cheese on the side which she said was amazing. I tried some of the no chicken meat and I have to say it was really nice! The service was very good when we went, the staff are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going again š
Great team and lovely service. Food takes a bit of time but understandable. We used a voucher as we signed up for loyalty points. They never disappoint. Make sure you book though as the hotel upstairs can be quite full.
Been to Beefeater many times and always feel so at home! The staff are so friendly, always up for a nice chat and me & my family absolutely love the food. A great local for good food, drinks & company

Love the atmosphere. Food good. Service sadly always very slow and not attentive enough. Good value for money especially the buffet breakfast!!!!
