The food artist Jason blew our minds (and filled our stomachs) with the braised lamb, the stuffed portabella mushroom...of course the awesome chips. And the sticky toffee pudding and mulled berry crumble were out of this world! Sorry no pics we dug right in. Definitely recommend this awesome authentic English pub.

Went down the Bell last night to eat and enjoyed a top Rib eye with wild mushroom sauce. Sue had the best ever chicken and mushroom pie. Highly recommend the food and of course the Ghost Ship doesn't need a mention

Only discovered this place this summer despite living here 3 years. Not quite sure how as it is amazing. Gorgeous food and great garden for kids with full play area and today a free bouncy castle! We also liked looking at the chickens. Staff really friendly and quick service too. What's not to like! Looks like they are building some kind of lake area too which already looks really promising. What a lovely addition to the grounds!

We only had drinks but it was a beautiful snug little pub that looked to be preparing for a very fun weekend if music and fun. The bar staff were lovely and the pints were great! Great treat after a beautiful day at Audley End. ;)

Excellent beers (incl non-alcoholic), cozy inside with open fire, massive garden for young children and relaxing terrace when sunny. A true village pub with good food (lunch and evening Plus great Sunday Roast - better book) and excellent pizza van on Thursdays when you can eat at pub and have drinks at same time. Customer friendly !

We stopped here for an overnight camper stay on our way to Norfolk. Such a friendly welcome from the bar staff who could not be more helpful. Good choice of drinks and wood fired pizzas. There is a great little bakery literally across the road which is great for a breakfast in the morning. I would highly recommend this great pub

Quaint little pub. Huge beer garden, fabulous! Good selection of beers/drinks. Food limited on this occasion, only pizzas or chips... pizza Friday. Very good pizza though. Good place to stay in the little camp field behind the pub. No camp facilities though.

Stayed here with an RV they offer a free parking place if you come and have food or beer. The staff was super friendly and it is a great out of the way pub just as you would expect in England

We stayed here overnight in our camper van. The lady behind the bar was really lovely and our food was served quickly. The back garden is great for camping as it’s grassy and secluded. I loved the chickens. The pub has so much potential, it just needs a little tender loving care outside. It could be amazing if tidied up. The surrounding village is very pretty and there’s a great bakery across the road.

This is my family's number 1 pub, the warmest feel, beautiful garden and plenty to keep kids entertained. The food is delicious and very very reasonably priced too. Will always come to the bell and recommend to anyone!

Great little pub with a huge outside space which includes a well set-up marquee for additional tables under cover. Friendly staff, good value pub grub and the option to park your camper over night if you dine in the pub.
