A stylishly decorated restaurant with a lovely ambience. Staff are very attentive, warm and friendly. The menu has a good selection of choices for all palates. It's a little pricey but we were there as a one off so it was justifiable. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Rye.
We visited this lovely spot during noon. At first it looked closed, but we're so glad we tried the door because the tables are in the back!
We were heartily welcomed and within 5 minutes of ordering our food was already delivered. Great service, great food. Can recommend all around.
This place is a must when coming to Rye! The service was great, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious! The flavours and attention to detail, you can tell they care. The interior is stylish and great location! Reccomend sitting in the conservatory
Delicious mediterranean cuisine, very nice staff and generally a pleasing experience. Offers choice of vegan/vegetarian/dairy free/gluten free options in the main menu, all clearly marked. We enjoyed a superb lunch on our day out in Rye; would definitely recommend and return if we are ever back in Rye.
We went to Marco’s for lunch yesterday and both have agreed it was THE best pizza we’ve ever had. The decor is fabulous, the service was lovely, the restaurant was clean and welcoming and the food was perfect. Thank you!
Wonderful place with a lovely vibe and the most convivial of hosts. Marco and Mia are so warm and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious and served with attention to detail. The signature cocktails are amazing especially the dessert baklava cocktail! Will definitely be back again.

Had a great midweek meal here at Marcos.
Always visiting and wandering around Rye, but haven't ever tried this place. Now, I'm not sure why we didn't sooner.
Lovely decor and spacious dining jn a relaxed atmosphere with a picturesque church background, through the expansive glass windows.
Great features, artwork, foliage etc.
The staff (young lady waitress and a guy, possibly the owner) were super friendly and attentive, but not over attentive. Left to eat in peace and there when needed.
The food was really good. Nice portion sizes. Great sides. Flavoursome and fresh. Meat was succulent and well cooked, I had the Marco speciality and my wife the chicken skewers. We also shared a Greek salad. All top notch and fair prices. We also indulged in the very tasty and well presented baklava for dessert, something we always crave as regular visitors to Greece.
Overall experience was excellent and we will definitely be back for daytime coffee and snacks and evenings meals.

We were walk-ins and had a very warm and professional greeting and a table was sorted for the two of us with no fuss.
The ambiance and vibe is sophisticated 1960-70s with an eye for fine detail and styling. Very comfortable seating and a warm atmosphere with gentle Cypriot music playing in the background.
We went with the house red which was excellent quality. Ordered authentic pita bread and hummus to share and this was just right in quantity and spot on for flavour. The mains were belly pork and lamb cutlets; each dish was well cooked and utterly delicious. We supplemented this with a bowl of delicious fries between us. The puddings were also delicious: baklava with vanilla ice cream and a tiramisú.
The service was just right, comfortingly reassuring and utterly attentive without being in your face. The quality is superb and this restaurant will not disappoint.

Beautiful vegan food. Charming interiors and ambience with a lovely view of the private garden. I randomly found this place while walking down the high st. The lovely owners are so welcoming. The whole place has a very family vibe to it.
There menu has great vegan and vegetarian options. I ordered vegan casserole and it was so hearty and wholesome. Very authentic flavours. Pitas were so fresh. Highly recommend this place.
I loved the vibe and the food at Marco’s! Everything was fresh and tasty, the only thing is portions were small and we shared another main course and starter as we were still hungry!!! I would recommend!

On holiday in Camber and took my wife here for our date night. Beautiful Mediterranean cuisine, set in the stunning historic town of Rye. The menu seemed to have something for everyone - good range of both vegan and meaty meals! We had a shared starter: the hot platter, which was spicy, but not ‘hot’. This suited us. The halloumi and chorizo were cooked to perfection and the size was ideal for two (not too small and not too large). For our mains, we had the traditional carbonara, which was good. Tasted as though the pasta was handmade. Also ordered the marinated grilled chicken which was stunning! The meat fell apart in your mouth - beautifully done. They were both so good, we shared each other’s dishes!
For desert, we had the Marcos special cheesecake. As you’ll see from the picture, there’s some fluff looking topping. Tasted like candy floss! Very enjoyable and large enough to share (if you’re filling full from the last couple of dishes). The wine list also had a good range and listed with the desserts were a choice of digestive drinks.
The décor was very tasteful. I’d strongly recommend trying to get a table at the back, which backs onto an old church which is beautifully lite up, giving a very romantic feel to your meal, making it a natural place for couples. Having said that there was a number of small groups of friends dining out too. We can definitely see ourselves coming back here with friends next time.
Service was very good. The waiter was incredibly friendly, accommodating and helpful. There was few things we needed to ask for because she seemed to preempt our needs. Very good service indeed!
Overall, Marcos was a fantastic restaurant. Ideal for a date or for a meal out with friends. I’d recommend coming here (in fact, I’ve already recommended it to my family) and certainly plan on coming back! Thank you Marcos!

It was refreshing to find vegan options that were rich with vegetables and not just soy-based mock meat stuff (although they have those too which is a plus!).
The food was hearty and delicious. We will definitely visit again when we're in the area!
Marco’s is lovely place. It was 10 out of 10 experience. Marco and Miya are very friendly and welcoming. Foods were amazing. Definitely recommended!
Marco and his wife Mia are amazing! The atmosphere and food here was absolutely amazing. We decided to do a full three course meal for our anniversary and sat in mid day.
The ambience was so relaxing. Mia and Marco came to our table at always the right time and we were sat right at the window with an amazing view.
We enjoyed Marcos Plate and the Tortellini and neither disappointed. We couldn’t stop sharing with each other, because both dishes were that good!
Don’t get me started on the deserts! They were TO DIE FOR.
Booked online but were late due to our bus not turning up. We were greeted with a friendly and reassuring face :) A great start which only got better. Food and drinks were perfect and as the restaurant got busier the 2 staff kept up a fantastic rapport with customers even though they could have done with an extra person on. It was my 40th birthday and I wouldn't have wanted to spend it anywhere else. Thank you very much.
