Well what can I say,This is a lovely quaint little tea room full of original features from years gone by,with the big beam fire place being the main feature in the seating area.The staff are the most wonderful people who keep the place spotless.The food and drinks tasted lovely and was well presented.would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
Nice place run by friendly and helpful staff with a professional attitude to ensure you are completely happy. Good food at reasonable prices.
Some of the staff have learning difficulties and it is a delight to see them showing what they can do rather than being judged on what they cannot manage.
Great food, lovely ladies working the place, handled our motley crew of 12 ravenous folks with their hearty breakfasts superbly. Recommend them if you're in town

The Coterie tea rooms are a life skills project from the Canterbury Oast Trust, a charity providing care and work experience for people with learning disabilities. The food and drink are really good and prepared by the people on their training programmes! Do you need a better excuse to indulge in a cream tea?
