Dined here on Sunday and had a lovely time. Great choice in the menu particularly the specials. Starters, drinks, food and service by the team was amazing. Would recommend this place.

Oysters were delicious. Ordered fish and chips which was good. Lobster was small and average - a bit dry. Was child friendly restaurant and attentive staff.

We were recommended to eat here but needed to book first. This is one of the best fish restaurants in Rye. The staff are friendly and very helpfull. The food is freshly prepared & all the fish are caught on the day. The place is kept clean and the toilets were clean too. The service was fast too. The general atmosphere & ambience is good. Will defo be going there again 👍👌😁

The tastiest Easter lunch of the my last 5 years. Fantastic location, fantastically good food, good service. Amazing wine. We ate everything 3 appetizers, 3 bloody Marys, 3 main courses, 3 desserts, 3 coffees, 1 water, a bottle of superb French wine, 1 digestive, for a total of £70 each, only and exclusively fish, scallops, oysters, moussels, crab... If I go back to Rye I've already know where to go. Next stop I will come to test the restaurant in Hasting. Highly recommended.

We went to Rye for a getaway day from London, and we discovered this phenomenal restaurant. It was well worth it. We began our delicious lunch with the Crab Arancini with Wasabi Mayonnaise and Salt and Pepper Squid, Noodle and Vegetable Thai Style Salad with Mint Coriander and Chilli. The menu looked very good and interesting so we ordered the Carpaccio of Scallop and Salmon with Orange Dressing, Fennel Salad followed by the Rye Bay Scallops Pan Fried with Caramelised Onion, Creamed Potato and Chive Vermouth Sauce, Crisp Pancetta followed by the Half Grilled Lobster with salad and French fries. To complete this superb lunch, we ordered the Sussex Cheese Plate with port wine and a fantastic local gin, Hastings Smugglers. Overall, a five-star-plus experience 🥳🍾 A big thank you to the attentive and professional team working at the restaurant. Well done guys!!!

Good variety of fish dishes and they tasted very good - between us we tried lemon sole, sea bass, hake, monk fish and mackerel. The mackerel is a bit on the small side but otherwise we were all happy. Actually very reasonable prices for the quality. The service on the other hand left something to be desired. We appreciate many places are understaffed but the staff present seemed totally disinterested and disengaged. If the service could be improved this would be 5*s.

We have just had such a lovely lunch. The fish stew and oysters were delicious and well presented. At last a restaurant that offers a good variety of healthy and thought out kids options - salmon, steak, lovely fish, and a delicious pudding option. Kids were really happy and satisfied and so were we. The parfait went down a storm and didn’t last long. Thank you. Great value, delicious food with a lovely atmosphere.

Brilliant fish restaurant set in an interesting building (apparently it was once a toy factory) and right in the heart of the charming medieval town of Rye. All the food was nicely presented, freshly prepared, and simply cooked, so all the flavours were not masked by other ingredients eg spices etc. The mussels, hake and bream were outstanding, especially when washed down with a glass of local Kent produced cider and wine. The wines are not cheap but we are not quibbling because the quality of the food, the restaurant ambience and overall setting should allow some flexibility in this area. Pub grub this is not!.

Food was quite good. It wasn't the typical menu that it's always the same in every place. Also, the waiter was quite nice. Then a waitress took over and when we said we didn't want desert because we were stuffed, it was like we somehow pissed her off. Then, coincidence or not, they wouldn't bring the bill (they did bring it to the table to all the other tables) and spent about 20 minutes waiting and trying to get somoene's attention, until I eventually took the bill and went to the bar with it to pay. I would have given the place 5 stars if they hadn't given us the vibe that they were punishing us for not wanting desert

Excellent service and scrumptious food would definitely come back... I had the monkfish wrapped in pancetta with linguine and hubby had the battered cod with new potatoes. Even though it was busy it wasn't noisy.

Absolutely delicious. I can see why the Michelin guide recommended it. Service/ambience was good, the food is divine and I absolutely cannot fault it. 100/100. Photos are the Torched Salmon starter and the Surf and Turf main - strongly recommend both!

Excellent fresh fish cooked to perfection. The staff here are knowledgeable and at pains to make the experience as best as possible for all. Chef really knows his stuff! Nice to go to a real fish restaurant .... many restaurants advertise their fish as fresh ...but typically it was fresh before it was frozen...at Webb's you can rest assured that it really has just come off the boat!
