The Cobbles Tea Room - Rye - Photo album

Oct 23. Highly recommended if visiting Rye. Staff 10 out of 10. Atmosphere 10 out of 10. Produce 10 out of 10. Homemade cakes OMG cannot be missed a proper treat. Visit at quieter times as can be a little wait if visiting in groups.
We've found the Cobbles by accident, we ordered the classic cream tea, a fruit cake and a pot of house tea for 2. The scones were warm, crumbly outside and soft inside. The clotted cream was really fresh just like local produce, possibly the most quintessential tea room I have experienced so far. W
I visit this lovely Tea room each time I'm in Rye. Never dissapointed. Always friendly staff, fresh food and reasonably priced. Updated August 2023: Coffee walnut cake still as good as its always been. Keep up the great work đź‘Źđź‘Źđź‘Ź
Wish I found this cute and cosy tea room the day before, as I would have loved a homemade quiche! Enjoyed a coffee and tea whilst there, will definitely return in future. Love how it is down a little but inviting alley and the decor. Staff were friendly and quick.
The food is magnificent and plentiful. The prices are reasonable. Had lunch there 3 times this week. Can't wait to visit again. The man serving during the week was very welcoming with his cheeky banter. Highly recommended this beautiful little place.
We loved everything about this adorable tea room! My ploughman’s lunch was delightful with two big hunks of cheese and the hot chilli from the specials board was nice and warming. Tea is served traditionally, with pots and strainers. Desserts were lovely and served warm with custard. We’d go bac
I visited The Cobbles Tea Room back in October of last year for my birthday, and I kept meaning to leave a review. I have to say it was my favorite places I visited in my entire trip, and I cannot recommend it enough. The shop itself is unbelievably charming, the interior cozy and homely. I got the
I had the most delightful experience at the afternoon tea in this charming venue. The selection of sandwiches was exquisite, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The tranquil and serene garden provided the ideal setting to enjoy the tea and savor each delicious bite. It was truly a wonder
Wow! What a cute, cosy cafe. The scones are incredibly fresh and delicious. I also ordered an oat milk hot chocolate - such a beautiful cup and generous portion. I will be back quickly - one of the best cafes in Rye!
A lovely quaint place to enjoy a lunch or some afternoon tea. My mixed ploughman’s lunch was delicious and my partner said that it was the best hot chocolate she had ever had! Service was friendly and attentive. Thank you for a very pleasant lunch!
Cobbles was on my "to do" list while in Rye for a few days, we came for cream tea this morning and were not disappointed. The scones were still hot from the oven, the perfect combination of crispy in the outside and light and fluffy on the inside, the loose leaf tea was some of the nicest tea that I
Such a lovely place to spend your afternoon in Rye! We visited this town for the first time and glad that we were able to come here at 4pm before it closes at 5pm. We ordered three sets of No. 3 afternoon tea and wow, the food didn’t disappoint!! I love the scone 💕 And the ambience was great! Defini
Great little tea room. Tucked away up a side street therefore nice and quiet. Great staff, always friendly. Superb range of teas and coffees. Lovely food. Highly recommend if you are in Rye.
Was busy on a Sunday afternoon. Sat in the tiny courtyard, service was quick, we ordered a baguette, sandwich and scones with tea. All very fresh and tasted good. Quite a small space but would definitely go again.
Best scones I've had since I moved to England 7 years ago. So delightfully kind people here. Tucked away just off the main road so don't miss it! Note: they even had soy milk if you need it
Oldy World House 1829.Only had time for proper tea with leaves and Chocolate. Will def be back for a meal. Can be busy at times. Small court yard in back when weather better.
Delightful little tearoom, very quaint. The best hot chocolate I've ever had, with generous toppings. We felt the staff could have been abit more inviting, and felt abit rushed to choose what we wanted. The cheese sandwich could be made more exciting with pickle or chutney, as is literally just butt
Very friendly staff and good service. The food was freshly made and very tasty, good portions. Lovely cosy tea room and glad we found it.
