I came here for Father’s Day. The team were incredibly welcoming when we arrived. We both had one of the most incredible roast beef’s I have ever had and shared a lovely cauliflower cheese. Lovely wine as well. Cannot fault anything at all. Atmosphere was brilliant. 10/10 would recommend.
We came here on a Sunday morning for lunch after a little trip to Rye from London. We had to book the place as it seemed to be quite full. The pub in itself is beautiful, well maintained, clean and dogs are allowed in. The staff is very friendly, polite and nice. The food is delicious. We took artic
True authentic pub. The food was great so it was the service. If you're around go for the Sunday roast and a very nice sticky toffee.
This was our first visit to the Plough. Albeit fairly quiet for a Saturday night we had a lovely relaxed meal. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent in taste and quantity. Was really good to see other dishes on the menu that you don't see everywhere else. Price was a touch over
Warm, welcoming pub with good food We had a lovely lunch and the restaurant was able to accommodate us on short notice. The ploughman’s was a little bit small (or a little bit expensive) for was was received and we did need to wait for over 40 minutes for food to arrive. Everything was tasty and
A fine little pub. The food is adequate, verging on slightly disappointing, but the staff were exceptionally friendly. Good atmosphere both nearly empty of people in the mid afternoon as well as nearly full after dinner time.
Lovely pub. Friendly team and happy to let you add or substitute items as long as they are available. Dog friendly, too. The outside terrace has a great view over the surrounding countryside.
Delicious meal to celebrate a friend's birthday - all food freshly prepared, well presented and tasty. Excellent service, fair pricing for quality meal in the comfortable surroundings with beautiful countryside views.
Lovely staff a friendly greet. The food was lovely good size portions and hot. Very old pub you must visit you will not be disappointed.
The food was absolutely superb, we were very looked after by our waitress Really good experience- would highly recommend The Plough
Called in for a drink and stayed for lunch as the food looked so good. It didn't disappoint - such a great find. Excellent service and atmosphere to boot.
We went there at 6:30pm about 4 days ago. Food was exceptional, ELO playing in the background, and friendly service! The venison-infused scotch eggs were incredible; gold-medal level. My burger was probably the best I’ve had in the past 2 years (and I know my burgers). It really was a super May ev

We were staying at a local Airbnb & the Plough was the nearest eatery we could walk to with our dog. The owner greeted us & although busy was very attentive. We chose the set menu . It was outstanding value & loved the use of local ingredients. When we next visit we will definitely return
Nice location, very helpful and friendly staff, the burger was amazing, easily one of the best around and the cod was very good too, even better then the Pilot. Highly recommended
Great roast beef Sunday lunch. Easily one of the best I’ve had. Dog friendly. Thanks
