Another lovely meal here � my daughter and I ordered the butternut squash quiche and salad and a delicious wrap which we shared both between us , was so yummy � then we shared a piece of Victoria sandwich which was equally as delicious � so good food and staff can highly recommend a visit here if your in rye .....thankyou
Yum, yum, yum! I love this fabulous cafe. As a vegetarian I often struggle to find a good selection of veggie food. The Fig in Rye has a great menu that welcomes meaties and veggies alike. The staff are lovely too, very friendly and helpful. A big, big thank you!

Always delicious - I usually have the granola for brunch which is lovely but last week I had the daal which was amazing. Well worth a visit!

This café is the most homey, cozy and delicious place in Rye. I never had such good cappuccino in combination with such a lovely staff and atmosphere.
Halloumi wrap is to die for!! Staff are super friendly, decor is perfect.
Great cafe the coffee was the best I've had! I normally add sugar to coffee but the coffee was so nice I didn't want to spoil it. I also had a lovely sandwich I would recommend.

One of my favourite hotel stays ever! Comfy and stylish rooms, very welcoming staff with excellent friendly service. One of the best brunches I’ve ever had. Plus a delicious dinner with great wine and cocktails, cheer the fig we loved our stay!
I rarely write reviews but this place deserves one. I had the best brunch ever. The aubergine dish was delicious, tasty, well balanced, textured and flavoursome. I would kindly ask for the recipe because I will dream of this dish for many weeks to come 😃😃😃
Service is also great, bathroom clean, well located restaurant and nicely decorated. Will definitely try and come back to Rye and visit The Fig soon
We had one of the best meals we've ever had here. We had 4 small plates and a starter between us and each plate was beautifully presented,imaginative and delicious. The waiting staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the food. You need to book as it's really popular and it's easy to see why.
Absolutely superb in every respect. The food, the staff and the surrounds. We thoroughly enjoyed the small plates, so tasty and innovative. They are enough for you to share and you don't feel hungry at all after your meal. Having Happy Birthday sung to me by all the staff and customers was a bonus x If you eat anywhere in Rye it has to be here x
The Fig is a modern and cosy restaurant. There is a very welcoming and warm atmosphere.
The dishes are absolutely beautiful, colourful and delicious.
The service was very efficient and quick. Thank you for suggesting doing ice-cream on top of my pavlova instead of cream, as I don't like it.
I have absolutely loved every bite of my food and definitely will be coming back.

Really tasty brunch and very sweet atmosphere in autumn - lots of natural light and great seasonal decorations. We especially enjoyed the halloumi eggs and the shakshouka. They also do gluten free bread so lots of choice!
We’ve visited Rye a few times and The Fig is one of the key draws. We’ve been for both brunch and dinner and the food is excellent. Their cauliflower is a revelation - who’d have thought that could be possible! Lovely staff too, thank you, you made us feel really welcome this week.
We chanced a table on Friday night, but it was fully booked... managed to get a table on Saturday, and were rewarded with a phenomenal barrage of beautifully balanced flavours.
I can't recommend this place enough.

Absolute Gem! Fantastic tasting food, super fresh and interesting flavours… very unique! Lovely decor and ideal location. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful and was able to recommend dishes for my vegan partner. The cauliflower lunch was absolutely amazing! Would highly recommend the fig!

Nice cafe but a little overpriced. Food was tasty but the price was a lot. However the food was fresh, I would have preferred hot mushrooms as cold they are less appetising on a hot pasta. But that’s just a taste thing. The ambience is great. Lovely location and to be fair we did know the price when we arrived. Staff friendly and attentive and the coffee afragato was good.
