We had not booked as we had stopped off on the way back to the hotel. They found us a table with no fuss and the food and service was superb! We would highly recommend this restaurant and will be going back again.

Started with very hot homemade cream of tomato soup which had some fresh veg in it. Ciabatta and butter. Delish. Mains of salmon in a creamy prawn and garlic sauce with sautéed potatoes. Yum, yummy. Suite of fresh fruit tart made with shortcrust pastry and a light eggy/lemon base. Mouth watering...

This is our favourite restaurant on the island. It's like a second home to us and "my Girls" are excellent at making you feel relaxed and comfortable. Their service is what good service is all about. The food is great and we obviously have our favourites but even when we stray to other dishes we are never disappointed. I own a small hotel on the island in Shanklin and am happy to come to Ryde for my night off and I am also more than happy to recommend to my own customers if they decide to eat out. This is my safe "go to" restaurant where you feel part of the furniture, hence the "my girls" comment. Even the late AA Gill recommended them a while ago. Not pretentious, just good solid cooking from the kitchen that delivers every service. Thank you Michelangelo.

The food and service is excellent. If you want a quiet relaxed meal, book the old restaurant. We were in the other which is more of a cafe experience. Although we were booked for 7.30pm, there was a 10/11 year old on the next table watching something very loud on her iPhone! Not what we wanted or expected.

We came here for our anniversary, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and we were never waiting long. We had three courses and the price was very reasonable. The atmosphere was relaxed and cosy, even more so as the evening went on and the restaurant was lit with gentle low lights. We would definitely return ❤️

What a lovely restaurant - we went there for lunch one day and then dinner the other day, enjoyed the food, ambience and service ! Such amazing , calm staff, always smiling and ready with suggestions. Me and my partner had pasta, pizza, bruschetta, cake and icecream ( both days included) and everything was delicious 🤤. Highly recommended - would love to visit again!

The whole experience here was amazing. Gemma our server was great and made us feel welcomed. This was our first time visiting as a group of 4 and happily spent two and a half hours here enjoying starter, main, dessert and coffee. The atmosphere was very calming. I would like to say gain that our server Gemma was amazing and made the experience even better.

It was an amazing dinner with spaghetti bolognese and pizza! Thought it was just a typical seaside local restaurant but as soon as we got in, people were friendly and interior was lovely and cozy! Besides the food was delicious as well. Highly recommend!

We were a large tour group so it was great that they could accommodate us. The set menu we had was limited to assist them to get meals out within a reasonable time. Unfortunately it was slow and getting a drink was difficult. I must congratulate them on having cold beers on a warm night. The lamb shoulder was excellent. The entrees were very good. The chocolate cake dessert was basic and wouldn’t recommend. Go the tiramisu. Much better. Authentic Italian cuisine and friendly staff. Would have given 5 stars but food took too long and difficult to get a drink.

Absolutely phenomenal meal. Real Italian food cooked perfectly. The service was wonderful, the timing of the food great, and everything tasted so fresh and authentic. We had the chicken rissoto and the carbonara, which were both delicious! Great price too - under £50 for 2 mains, sides, and drinks.

Great food just off the Esplanade, Got a last minute booking on Sunday before Bank Holiday, so glad we did. Lovely attentive staff and a superb menu. We had a selection of their various bruschetta to start and then various options from the main menu, all were cooked to perfection and really tasty. Great deserts and we weren't rushed out even though were well after the end of the lunch period. Great service and would certainly visit again.

Really good customer service! Our pizza took longer than expected to get to us due to some oven issues in the kitchen but due to this issue, the staff did not let us pay for the pizza and said it was on them. They are extremely friendly and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend, A++++

This authentic Italian restaurant is positioned right on the sea front. The restaurant is light and airy with beautiful decor. The staff are friendly and very helpful. There is an extensive menu and specials board. The food is absolutely amazing and beautifully presented. It makes you eat slowly to savour each mouthful. The desserts are......to die for and would make you happily return again to move your way down the list of truly mouth watering delights. It is advised to book a table for an evening meal to avoid being disappointed.

I had read good reviews online and I was not disappointed. Everything from the service to the food was fantastic. The seafood chowder I had was perfectly cooked and my partner who is vegan had plenty of choices. The tiramisu was also wonderful. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant.

Came here for my mum's 60th. Menu is varied so there's something good for everyone. Yummy dishes and great portion sizes. The seafood ragu was great with lots of seafood included. Pork shank was huge. Salmon in pesto sauce was a treat. Staff were lovely too. Also good to note that is is open on Mondays, unlike many other IoW restaurants.

Super nice place to have traditional Italian cuisine! Friendly staff and attentive service, also the environment is cosy and homie, all seats are spacy. We came here two days in a row, from starter to main and then dessert, all satisfied our starving tummys. So glad that we found here and came for two dinners.
