If I tell you all about this place it'll be harder for me to get a seat, but at the risk of that if you want a top drawer Sunday lunch here's where you need to be. Food - taste is fantastic, presentation the same, service is friendly & they fall over themselves to help. Lovely big central log fire roaring away. Massive marquee outside for when the weather warms up. Even though we were stuffed after our roast beef & turkey dinners we split a steamed sticky toffee pudding which was delicious too. After our disaster at the Three Pigeons yesterday this was heaven. Thank you Leyland Arms 😉👍

Stayed here with my sister for five nights. Accommodation delightful and what a setting, just stunning. We could be self contained but with the excellent pub food and company why would you. Jan and Rob both so very welcoming and attentive. An absolute gem of a find. It was central to so many activities If I make it back to UK again soon will definitely visit again. Thank you all for a superb trip and grand memories.

I came here yesterday with my family AND today and the service was absolutely amazing. The food was absolutely amazing and the owner took the time out to introduce herself and check us regularly. We felt so comfortable here. The prawn starter, never have I tasted anything so delicious, the seabass main, beautifully seasoned and the potatoes perfectly cooked. Thank you for having us we will be back.

Amazing, a truely exceptional pub - rural setting, uber friendly staff, great food/drink and so much more. The landlady (Jan) went out of her way to entertain our booking of 14 knowing that she had also to cater/entertain a full on Saturday afternoon wedding reception. Certainly from our point if view - it was perfection, all seated around 1 table and the food was delicious. Highly recommended

What a lovely pub. So accomodating. The staff are so helpful. Even after our large party at short notice. Food was excellent. Couldn't ask for a better eve. Well do e to all staff. There should be more pubs like yours. Cheers all.

Wow wow wow. So we stopped off here on a whim because we found it on Google maps on the way back from our visit to Colwyn Bay. The food was just amazing and the service...incredible. Myself, my partner, our 2 year old and 2 rottweilers were welcomed with smiles and couldn't have felt more at home. The place is gorgeous and we hope that one day we can return to this little gem of a pub. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful family memory.

What an absolute hidden gem. The staff are attentive, polite and very welcoming. The food is superb quality and in my mind reasonably priced. The views are stunning from the beer garden and the church facing the pub is a beautiful historic building.

We came across this place online while struggling to find somewhere good to eat in ruthin Town centre and I'm glad we found it, from the moment we stepped into the place we was so welcomed the atmosphere was great and the rustic feel to the place felt homely. The couple who ran the place were so nice and the food was exceptional, would love to come back here again.

I enjoyed a week staying in here. No questions, I loved it. I would rather stay in this homely place than the top hotel in London. Their house burgers are something on their own I would return for. Then finally the location, not a shopping stay, it is a country stay, I will add a few photos of the gems my daughter and I found in the area. Pick your favourite.

Fantastic service and food to match. A welcome change to the usual mediocre experience at most pubs in England... Maybe it's because it Wales , maybe it's because it's just a great pub. Either way , worth having a meal here.

Visiting the area and came for Sunday dinner with my partner and our two dogs after a long day! Service was great, staff were friendly and helpful; has a local community pub feel - but felt friendly to a couple of visitors. Beautiful exterior. Food was fantastic; excellent value for money, generous portions - fresh, hot and very filling! Lovely chat with manager/owner as we left, if we find ourselves back in the area again we’d love to come back ☺️
