Came here this evening, ordered the loaded nachoes which were amazing, loaded with chicken, cheese and dips. Partner ordered steak medium rare, the steak was so tender I didn't need a steak knife, just melted in your mouth. We had some cocktails too which were really good. Staff were lovely and real
Not a bad little restaurant... Looking around Ruthin... for something to eat.. I just loved the menu.... Booked a table... Job done.

Stayed at the nearby Ruthin Castle and this place was the find of the trip. Both times we ate here the service was fantastic and the food was amazing and massive. Also a gorgeous building, with historical significance. And prices were reasonable. Just go.

We stayed at Ruthin Castle for the weekend and this restaurant was recommended by one of the locals. Couldn't have done better!! Friendly and welcoming staff, lovely homely feel and relaxed atmosphere. Food was beyond our expectations, well cooked and beautifully presented, and portions were huge!!
Oh my word what can I say, this restaurant is amazing. The food is superb! We are only in Ruthin for 2 days and both days we ate here. Jacobs ladder Rib of beef is unbelievablely good. During a recent short break to Ruthin we ate here twice it was that good. The restaurant location is excellent, right in the middle of town. Went for a birthday and we were well looked after, with some lovely food. Steak amazing and ribs delicious. The 5 pudding taster to share, should not be shared!! Only disappointment was children's menu was a little sparse and those that had the Sunday lunch thought veg was a little bland.

We read the reviews and thought we'd give it a try ... We was not disappointed, the food and service are excellent. I must say it's probably the best meal I've had out for a while. The staff are so friendly and really attentative. The gluten free choice is excellent. I would highly recommend.
