What can i say ?! Hospitality was fantastic posh food posh cocktails the bar staff where great very polite esspecialy the girl who made me the french martinis she had great energy. The reception girls where very helpfull and even went that extra mile to make me a sandwich after hours i will definetly be back i recomend the burgers on the menu well worth the money and the lamb shank i had on sunday was to die for ! And as i sit and write this review i am waiting for breakfast i was late this morning and still yet again going that extra mile well done to you all and thanks for having me

My family and I visited the Burnside Hotel for Christmas Dinner. I was very impressed with the layout and preperation of the resturaunt. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The staff were always available for drink orders and provided excellent customer service. Thankyou for making our day special. 🎄
I had my 60th birthday dinner for 25 family and friends the staff were brilliant and so nice ten out ten thank you so much for helping me have a lovely evening
Was here last night for the xmas night quiz. We had a lovely meal with drinks,the only complaint was cold plates and the staff need a little bit of training as to who is looking after which table.All in all we love going there and the staff are brilliant. By the way we won the quiz woo woo
Had my Gatsby theme 40th last night and it was absolutely amazing, The staff where very accommodating, friendly and very helpful, sorry for the mess lol, you where fantastic and thank you to Billy the DJ for making the night go out with a bang �

yugh. ordered steak pie three of us , not chips , potatoes . pastry tasted of metal , meat looked very old , black gravy poured all over it to make it look inviting .. deep friend potato wedges (fat chips) for 'potatoes' Meat didn't disappoint it WAS very old . awful
Fabulous hogmanay at the Burnside. The entertainment was great. " Rod Stewart" quickly had everyone up dancing & the piper was amazing bringing in the New Year.
The James Watt Suite was beautifully decorated, food great and the staff worked hard looking after everyone. Thanks everyone and happy new year xx

First visit to the bar lounge. Quiz nt on a Friday night. Ned free clientele and toilets spotless. Staff very welcoming as they should be dealing with customers, very good at their job.
Stayed here for one night in a twin room to go & see a concert in Glasgow.
Staff were very friendly and the hotel & rooms were spotless.
The best selling point is the hotel is easy access from the M74 and has a good sized car park for patrons & better still the train station is a 5 min walk with an open return £2.90 into Glasgow Central, so brilliant base for Glasgow.
We got soaked at the open air concert, so we were so pleased after arriving back at the hotel that the shower was hot & powerful to revitalise our poor damp bones!
Great breakfast the next morning as well, I would definitely stay again.
Was a nice hotel, the room was just showing signs of getting tired.
But all clean and comfortable.
We had a full Scottish breakfast which was very salty, but very filling.
Staff were nice and helpful.
Older woman on reception was a babe.

Went here for a wake, the food was lovely, they even managed to do a vegan meal. The staff were very helpful and polite. The place could do with a facelift as it looks very tired, but overall a nice experience given that it was a funeral.

It's open to kids till about 8 and dogs welcome outside as long as they behave ;)
The restaurant inside is also lovely and does a good Sunday lunch
The bar inside also offers entertainment
Food for eight people and it was all amazing, full marks to chef. After eating table was untidy and had to clear glasses three times, bar staff could have been more attentive.

Lovely room, great food, and a brilliant family wedding, all staff were exceptional
and happy to be at work, a rare thing these days.
Great location for the train in to Glasgow as Burnside station is only a 3 minute walk away.
Would book to stay here again in the future.
Sat at a table outside for a drink as the weather was really nice.
Didn't have to book a table in advance but you normally have to especially at weekends if the weather is good I would imagine.
The service was quick and friendly, prices are decent.
The indoor area for food was also quite busy so it's obviously a popular place in the area.

Lunch with work friends. Friendly waiting staff. Generous portion sizes. Nice decor. Very spacious. Slightly overheated dry Lasagne was taken off the bill without hesitation
