Went in for a quick lunch with my husband and really enjoyed it. Scrambled eggs and salmon where delicious and my husband enjoyed his roll. Reasonably priced will definitely be back as there's not many nice places open on a monday in the area

Best thing that happened to that shop and the area was when the off-licence shut and the shop was to returned to its original purpose of being a cafe / ice cream shop.
It will be open until 9pm on Fri, Sat and Sunday during July and August so please support the local business.

A corner hideaway on Stonelaw Rd Burnside.Good quality plate meals or just coffee snacks and cakes as you prefer. Covid regulations are well observed with seat partitioning. Staff are helpful and very friendly. Well worth a visit.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of choices on the menu. Table bit small but we managed to fit everything. Come early to get a table as does get full quickly. Lovely wee cafe.
Wasn't sure what to expect Gelatos has recently changed hands. We had lunch and as always our burgers were tasty and service was quick and cheery. We were spoken to by the new owner, who was wanted us to know that they are transitioning the business both in terms of tweeking the menu and refurbishment. I thought this was a nice touch, as he seemed genuinely interested in our feedback. I'm certainly interested to see how things shape up over the coming weeks, they certainly have big plans. I had know problem recommending them previously and will certainly be giving the new people a fair cracking of the whip, they certainly seem determined to to things up a notch or two.
The new ownership is a large improvement. The ice-cream tastes better now and the service is great. The hygiene has had a step up and they finally got a card reader. Overall, I think it’s a good cafe and it’s finally an enjoyable experience.
Absolutely spotless clean and very nice cafe, highly family centric and very popular with families with children, I visited this cafe on Thursday and the staff are second to none,the food and drinks are very nice and well presented and the premises are very very clean and well looked after.
Helpful and friendly staff and the selection of soft drinks,teas and coffees are good.
Highly recommend this cafe, even if you're driving around within 10 miles and looking for somewhere,if you can get parking nearby it's definitely worth a visit even by car.
I will come back here at any opportunity.

Loved this place, great for kids and older people (any age older than a kid) breakfast is really nice apart from the clear slime on my egg (that's not cooked right for me) in fairness didn't put me off the rest of my breakfast, mushrooms were the best, would go back without the fried egg

Lovely friendly cafe with great choice of food and delicious treats. Kids menu also available. Great for breakfast, lunch or just a treat. Ice cream and sweets available too. Small outdoor eating area too.
Nice cafe with cool red chairs and tables and a good food selection. We had chicken piri wraps with a nice salad and French fry's, service was quick and food was nice and a fair price. Coffee was excellent. Staff were nice as well. Toilets were clean but could have done with a spruce up. A good standard cafe worth a visit if in the area.
Great service and atmosphere. Excellent coffee. Would also recommend the chilled dogs, bruchetta and the handmade burgers. The best scrambled egg, homemade soup and coleslaw in Scotland hands down. All at the fraction of the price of anywhere else locally. The kids love it too.
Very nice cafe, pleasant staff, good service, food was very good indeed. Been there many times never disappointed, always made to feel welcome, you can also eat outside if you want too.
Fabulous cafe. Has made a real impact on the area. Food always great and staff very friendly. Can get very busy , especially when schools come out , although I see this as a positive as it shows how popular Gelato is.
During summer months & times of good weather they have a couple of tables outside.
All in all a great weekend place to visit .

Great cafe with friendly staff. Food, cakes and ice cream are fantastic and got to say the coffee they serve is really good. Even during Covid times it is well spaced, with separation screens and run safely.
Just had full breakfast and its the best i have ever had.
