Best butcher's I've ever been to. Pork pies and sausages are excellent and the flat sausage sandwiches are a rare treat.
We got a whole shoulder of lamb from here in September.. we were in our caravan and asked them to keep it for us for our leaving day .. they did .. they vacuumed packed it for us too.. just cooked it to night after defrosting it for two days and my goodness what a fantastic taste.. we will be back 👍
I think that it is virtually impossible to come out of this shop with ONE thing.
I consider it the best shop for fantastic cheeses in the area...and of course , the meat and then there's the pies...
The local cheeses make a wonderful gift with chutney to top it off.

Good size free car parking at the rear of the building, you will need to use this as it’s very busy fast paced little shop. Fantastic cuts of high quality meats 🥩 cheeses 🧀 & local bread 🍞.

Decent variety of good quality produce, at an appropriate price. Some may consider it expensive but, when it comes to meat, I’d rather pay a bit more for higher quality. Best hot sandwich ever: bacon/sausage, egg, mushroom and black pudding…heavenly.
