This is a delightful old pub with lots of character and surrounded beautiful countryside. Now that spring is here, it is the perfect spot to enjoy a walk in the surrounding fields and then enjoy nice meal here.

Lovely country pub with a great menu. Sunday roast is highly recommended and you can even get a roast for your dog too served for them in a bowl. Nice atmosphere with wood burning fire. We had tempura chilli prawns and a mushroom dish for starters. Prawns were crispy with a chilli dip, went down well. Sunday roast beef with all the trimmings and a plaice, beautifully presented and nicely baked with capers, for some reason served with chips. R
