Really impressed with this dinosaur themed restaurant. Nothing around like it with very decent food and great service. If you have children that love some adventure while eating their food then this is the place. Went here with a family of four plus two grandparents. And we all thoroughly enjoyed the food. We had a mixture of the burgers on offer. Decent portions and even the kids are all their food off freshly made chicken nuggets and jumbo fries. See images.

Brilliant place to go for food, amazing size portions of food and tastes amazing! Seems like alot of money when looking at the menu but with BLC we got 4 meals and 3 drinks for £50! Definitely worth it and Definitely will be going again.

It's a great place, the food selection is mainly burgers, but it's a grill, right? Very quirky titles for the food. The staff were all nice, it was fairly quiet when we went so the staff were wandering. The only minor issue I experienced was that it was a bit too dark. The lighting fits the theme, the decor was really impressive with dinosaurs scattered around but for me it was a bit too dark. Finally, the place has a gift shop selling a nice range of Dino toys and brand memorabilia. Overall, great place and I'd definitely go again. But bring a torch 😀

On arrival we were warmly greater and shown to our table. In a short time we were asked what we wanted to drink and we're we ready to order. The staff were very atentive in fact they were a little over the top in keep asking was the food etc ok. The table was very basic as we're the metal chairs. The food was of a good standard and well presented. At the end of the meal you are given your table number and have to pay at the till in the shop which is attached to the restaurant. If you hold a Blue Light card they do accept this and give a discount. I gave 4 stars as I felt the seating let the place down had this been different I would have probably given 5. All in all a great place to take the kids for a meal.

Good: the concept of the dinosaur theme restaurant is brilliant, the decor, the menu ideas too. For a themed eatery I wasn't expecting the food to be wonderful as similar places tend to focus more on the atmosphere, but actually the food was really nice and good sized portions too. The idea of coming round with the baby dinosaur puppet was a really nice addition as well (although the girl needed to speak a little louder as we couldn't hear her very well) and the crayons and colouring sheets. We liked the shop, and the variety of different Dinosaurs, prehistoric animals and fossils. The toilets are unisex, however they are individual cubicles with their own hand washing facilities etc, and we really appreciated the addition of the extra toilet seat attachments for younger children to use. Free parking at rushden lakes for 5 hours. They asked if there were any allergies when seated. Food brought round on trolleys which I thought was a good idea. Not so good: As mentioned by another review on here - the seating and tables really let this place down. It's such a shame as it's such a little thing but considering their main clientele would be aimed towards children I found the height of the tables really odd and no thought had gone into them. My boy is a tall 4 year old and the table came to his chin which isn't a comfortable eating postion. I noticed other children around us were the same. The chairs are really cheap tin and could do with being more robust, sturdy and taller. Seems they've gone all out on everything else and done the chairs/tables on a budget! I feel booths around the edge would probably be more suitable and you would be able to get more customers in as well. As a family of 3, we were also put around a single square table (very small!), we had to move the bucket of condiments to the floor as we had no where else to put them and they were very obtrusive that we couldn't see over them to speak to each other. No one commented or suggested any help! And because the table was in the middle of the flooring area and not edge, I was very conscious that someone might trip over the coats on the back of our chairs, our bags on the floor and the condiment bucket! The dinosaur props could be positioned in the middle of the restaurant, and that would also avoid other customers and their children coming to take a photo with the dinosaur you're sat next to and you/your child being in the background of it. Another suggestion to staff is to probably minimise the amount of times they come round to ask if the food is okay, it always feels awkward when you have a mouth full of food! (Perhaps just have a person on standby in case someone needs another drink etc instead as no bar - all service is at table) Also looked closed on the outside as doors are shut to keep it dark , entrance/exit could be made a little clearer as we entered through the shop and I believe this is intended for the end of your experience instead..

Very pleasant staff. Warm and friendly greeting. The environment is very exciting for the kids (and slightly larger kids) Food arrived in good time. Good portion sizes. Well presented and tasted lovely. Cost is pretty fair, I didn't feel it was overpriced. Will definitely return at some point.

As a themed restaurant, the novelty was the main reason for the visit, very unique and fun themed. Turns out the food was actually really nice as well. Service wasn't lightning speed, but when you're enjoying everything around you like you're in a dinosaur movie, it's nice to have time to look around at all the decorations.

A nice dinosaur themed restaurant at Rushden lakes with staff dressed as dino explorers and some still and some moving dinosaurs to enjoy. Food wise it was American grill type stuff, our party of four had a pizza, some ribs, a burger and a large burger with steak and peppercorn sauce. All very tasty but there were no healthy options, not one salad mentioned but then what kid eats salad! The staff were very friendly and prices were ok but not cheap. Portion sizes pretty good though so no desert was required/attempted. We would go again as we all enjoyed it, just please consider putting a salad on the menu.

We decided to book the Jurassic Grill for Sunday lunch as a surprise for the boys. It's a newly opened themed dinosaur diner. On arrival we were taken to our table and the drinks and main meal orders were taken promptly. Inside there are dinosaurs pretty much everywhere from ceiling to floor and the lighting is low to add more to the effect. Our main meals arrived within 20 minutes and everyone in our family throughly enjoyed their meal as they were tasty and hot and our waitress couldn't do enough to help make our visit memorable The children also had room for a pudding. Our stay lasted about one and a half hours and we did not feel rushed at any stage of our visit. Overall it's a very slick and well run establishment and a credit to the owners and staff.

Great food, and really friendly staff. Very atmospheric, with music and dinosaurs throughout. On the negative side, the seating is awful, really uncomfortable, especially if you have back problems. However, highly recommended it.
