Great little pub. Under new management. Fantastic food and atmosphere. For a small rural pub it’s really well finished. Charlie in the kitchen cooked us up a storm. Delicious food. Dog friendly, if your dog is friendly. Tapas style menu in the week and great roasts on the weekend - we had the
2 of us dropped in at the last moment this evening for a drink on route to home, log fire was on, on a damp night which was lovely, welcoming host & friendly atmosphere, great conversation, would recommend this cute off the beaten track pub… will return. Thank you.

Just had the most beautifully cooked Roast Lamb Sunday Lunch. Friendly staff, thank you to all, we will definitely be back.
Gorgeous little country pub with excellent food, excellent service, that has regular music events and a big garden. Well worth seeking out.

Great little pub, a little treasure tucked away in the Herts countryside. Didn't have any food, so can't vouch for that, but staff and locals friendly. An alternative vibe circa mid 70s I would say and nothing wrong with that.
Lovely pub. Dog and child-friendly. Good food. Themed food events, good beer, decent sized garden at the back and patio at the front. Nice atmosphere most evenings. Often host live music nights on Wednesdays. The owner takes pride in his pub and is keen to impress. They even offer a shuttle service

Very friendly good ale . fish and chip night Fridays.rear garden cosy interior with log fire. Highly recommend also caters for Gluten free fish and chips with prior notice
