Friendly staff. I ordered Lunchtime Small Cod and Chips with Curry Sauce(£8.90). A generous portion of chips. The cod was a bit flat but very nice-I did ask for small. Fish slightly greasy but maybe as all freshly cooked and served. Very good-I’ll use them again.
Clean tidy freshly made food not just kept warm good portion sizes and for a reasonable price

Staff here are always smiling and friendly, I travel a lot around the UK so I've tried my fair share of chippys 🙈 but this is my local chip shop and I've not needed to go anywhere else since! Great food, always piping hot and keeps me coming back every Friday evening 🤭.
First timers here and we ordered 2 haddock and chips and was absolutely delish! Super hot still by when we got it home and batter was super crispy and good portion size without being a crazy amount. Definitely will return :-)
It's great. I would almost go as far to say that the food is perfect.
But it's not quite perfect in my opinion.
They go through the trouble to keep the food as freshly cooked as possible (thumbs up to that)
My only grudge is the chips could do with a little longer.
They're far from burnt, ruined

Good fish and chips, their kebab meat is amazing! Not greasy and oilly like other local takeaways.
We use every Friday at work for our religious fish and chip lunch.

I rang Ocean Blue up to see if they could help me get some fish and chips to my 94 year old Nan who lives in Rushden. The carers had not delivered any food and she was really hungry. The guy was on his own in the shop, but he prepared the fish & chips and asked the pizza place next door to deliver
