It's a nice place. On a Sunday afternoon, it was crowded. We were lucky to get a table immediately. People who arrived later had to wait up to 10 minutes to get a table. The ambience was really good, with Halloween themed interiors.
We ordered a Raspberry mint cooler, a garlic bread and a Pinoli pizza. The Raspberry mint cooler was refreshing. The garlic bread had caramelized balsamic onion which was sweetish. The pizza was delicious too. They accepted only card payments.
On that day, they looked under staffed, as the service was a bit slow. No other complaints.
We were seated quickly even though we were early, the restaurant was clean as were the toilets with their lovely smelling hand lotion. We ordered the chicken spiedini with additional soul breads and mozarella arancini, which were both lovely although the chicken could have been hotter, we also felt that the bread was rather doughy, inside the roll it felt like raw dough and we did not eat it. We then ordered the classic margarita with additional toppings which the waitress said was smaller than the rustica. we also ordered the rustica half and half sticky pig. Both were amazing and the margarita was larger than I expected, over all we were extremely pleased. My daughter took me for a belated Mothers day lunch and we agreed its the best one yet. Thank you so much Zizzi.
Came here for a family members birthday last night, I was definitely skeptical!
Food wise, I’d say it’s pretty typical chain level but still good. Prices are fairly average. A couple on our table who had been before did share some feedback around the pork dish as it was a little different to when they had eaten there previously and this was taken on and explained politely by the server.
We were taken care of by TY, who was great! And had the patience of a saint when a few of us were late - and then couldn’t decide what to eat or drink for quite a minute after! He was very attentive, and we were all looked after, including diary allergy and Celiac requirements. Our only complaint was that there was no option to tip when we paid by card so we could only give what little change we had!
We had a lovely meal in here, the food was so delicious and the service was impeccable! A big shout out to our waitress Gosia 😁👏🏻 very caring and attentive.
Would definitely recommend 🙌
What a romantic evening with my partner, the flavours on this meal were to die for. This is the second time we have come here and and like aLeah’s amazing food and lovely staff!
Cannot wait to bring my parents here.
Food much better that the jurassic grill nxt door good prices etc
Very much so enjoy coming here, consistent great great food and overall atmosphere, very cozy and welcoming. Very much so recommend asking for waitress Gosia! She’s incredibly patient, warm, accommodating and funny. Gosia really made our experience ! If you’re hungry and at the Lakes deffo swing by!
Gosia was very friendly and offered superb and prompt service.
The food however was not the best, I had a Rustica Sofia Pizza on which the chicken had stringy, tendon bits in it and the pulled pork had a funny taste (seemed a bit old).
My partner had a Chicken Milanese where the chicken was quite undercooked and she did not finish her meal.
The experience overall was nice - the staff was lovely and we even had a couple of jokes, however the main event (food) did let me and my partner down a bit.
Amazing food at amazing prices! Definitely worth a visit, the only downside was the waiting times. The staff were working very hard and did apologise but took over an hour for our main course to arrive.
That was really lovely. Tasty 'All the greens vegan risotto ' for me, 'vegan rainbow lasagne ' for my wife. Both meals delicious. Service was excellent too. Nice mid week treat.
We visited today for dinner Gosha and team couldn’t do enough make our visit perfect.
One of party was gluten intolerant and they knew exactly what was suitable on the menu and had the allergens book to hand so we could also check for ourselves.
The food was lovely and served promptly, would certainly visit again.
Decided to visited here for a meal in the Easter holidays.
We are a family of four with two children aged 8 &12.
My wife had pre booked a table but they were also excepting walk ins.
On entering it felt a relaxed inviting environment and we were promptly greeted and seated by our waitress who throughout our stay was polite and attentive
The drinks order was taken while deciding on our food choice.
For starters we opted for two dishes to share the Fonduta Formaggi and the Garlic Bread with Mozzarell which took about 15 minutes to arrive.
The garlic bread disappeared quickly but the boys were not as keen on the dip.
Our main dishes arrived 20 minutes after the starters were finished.
Three of us opted for pasta dishes
Spaghetti Bolognese,
Spaghetti Chorizo Carbonara and the
Casareccia Pollo Piccante, while our youngest played safe with the childrens Margherita Pizza with a Pepperoni Topping (which was plenty big enough for him)
All were very tasty and disappeared as quickly as they had arrived.
We all enjoyed our visit to Zizzi and said we would visit again.
With drinks and wine the bill came in at around £25 per person.
First time at zizzi and we had a lovely dinner. Food was delicious and presented well with quick service. Can’t wait to return and definitely worth the money. The roquito honey was addictive and nice to try something different.
My classic pepperoni pizza was better than any pizza I have had in the US. The pepperonis were just so tasty, as was the cheese- and the crust. The Smokey flavor in the pizza just put it over the top and I used the pizza cutter like a little piggy instead of my knife. It really was great. Well played.
We celebrated our girls passing there A levels at Zizziz. Food was absolutely fabulous. And service was also excellent.
Visited Rushden lakes Zizzis today! Food was delicious! Garlicki Bread with chili's wow absolutely amazing!
Thank you Zizzi team for making our visit special!!
