We went to See Stan Boardman for an evening show, it was my 1st visit to the Brindley, plenty of car parking spaces with quite a few disabled spots. Wheel chair access now issues as there is a lift inside if you choose circle seats. The only real thing I found to be an issue was the waiting area outside the theatre before the doors opened, there were only about 2 dozen chairs in the bar area, most people had to stand, that's fine if you are able bodied.
The seating inside the theatre was comfortable with enough leg room and in the interval an ice-cream vendor came in. I didn't get to use the cafe (situated on the upper floor)so I can't comment on it.
Overall I'd give my experience of the Brindley a 7/10.
Amazing cosy venue, can see the stage from all directions so no bad seats! Went to watch jurassic Live with a 3 yr old and it was well organised and very fum for all! Staff was great. 10/10 venue.
Great amount of parking both on site & across the road from the Brindley with lots of disabled parking too.
Easily accessible to main door up slight incline. There are both stairs & a lift to the 1st floor area where entry to the balcony area of the theatre is accessed.
There are plenty of toilets which are well signed. Seating is comfortable & a good bum size, no pinching of thighs on us larger people lol.
We tend to sit in the balcony area for concerts/musicals & floor level for plays.
There is a bar, area for merchandise to be sold by acts, cafe of the daytime & I think some local groups meet here too.
Close to local road & rail networks & and the thing I love best is the value for money, tickets are so we'll priced & include booking fee in the price. Staff are very friendly & so helpful too.
Just a lovely theatre, friendly staff and the Drifters were brilliant. Very privileged to have this on our doorstep ♥️
Great theatre, comfortable seating, plenty of legroom, pleasant staff, great location and free parking, the studio has less legroom and has steeper steps, so it's not as user friendly if you have mobility issues.
