Great staff very welcoming, the local clientele where friendly, and the ale was a good pint even though the manager facetiously said the ale was bad lol,

A fantastic traditional local pub with the friendliest landlord and landlady. They will always go the extra mile to do anything for you. Really nice pint with affordable food that is value for money. I would pay more in most other pubs for the quality of the food. Will continue to visit. Thankyou Jo
Just had Sunday lunch, could not fault it.From when we first entered to ordering the meal the staff were very friendly and helpful. The meal was superb all fresh veg and the chicken was beautifully cooked. Will definitely be using again and will recommend to all our friends.
Great Pub and a smashing landlord well worth a visit
Too drunk to leave a proper review last night, the larger was perfect. Emma, John and Luke are stars. They now do food and the takeaway platter to share for £10 is a must. See you soon guys xx
It was my first time in there on Sunday and won’t be my last, friendly atmosphere and service. Just needs to stock on Coors Light but I assume it’s because it’s a very popular beer and high in demand.

Attended a friends funeral today and was amazed at the changes made. Staff were very friendly and gave us good service. Will return in the future for drinks and a meal. Recommended.
