Nice café. The service is quick and friendly, the club sandwich with chips and a cup of tea were most welcome. I particularly liked the way that either of the 2 staff would happily take orders, deliver them to the table and I think prepare them too. None of that being ignored by someone who is doing

This weekend we had a vegetarian breakfast and the most delicious ham and cheese toastie! A great cup of coffee and they also serve Earl Grey tea.
Stopped here for lunch and had the Kings Club Sandwich and a coffee. Was really nice, staff are very pleasant and accommodating, atmosphere is chilled, in and outdoor seating available.
Proper breakfast and good prices, first time visitor after living nearby for over ten years. This will now be my go to place if I ever fancy a bacon roll. Keep up the good work!

First visit, we had mushroom ommlet salad and chips, very nice indeed, peaceful, clean, dog friendly, looking forward to a return visit and working our way through a pretty good menu, thank you.
I like bringing my elderly mum here because it's within walking distance, the food is good honest cafe food at a reasonable price, the owner is friendly and there's always activity for her to watch.
Feb '23 update: Still thriving despite an intermittently freezing then very wet December and January.
Vince and his team have persisted through the Covid Lockdowns and emerged the other side with a BBQ set up and more seating on the terrace and weather permitting the grass.

The food is simple well cooked with good portion sizes, plenty of seating inside/outside, will return.

Friendly people serving lovely food and hot drinks - just what is needed on a cold day after (or even before) a walk in the muddy woods. Prices reasonable and plenty of parking.
