I stop here quite often on my drive back from Bristol. Good choice of vegetarian and vegan menu. Very quick and efficient employees. Helpful with the orders too. Plenty of seating space, both inside and outside. It’s about 30 minutes outside Exeter and an hour away from Bristol. Definitely recommend stopping by for a quick break.
My experience in this McDonald's compared to the many others that I've tried was as follows.
Service was very fast with hardly any delay or hassle.
The food was good, hot enough to enjoy and served with all the essentials, and eco-friendly ketchup dispenser to fill a small cardboard tub.
Average surroundings with plenty space to wait or sit down and eat.
Overall it was a satisfying restaurant.
I never imagined I would rate a Mcdonalds with a 5 star, but it was outstanding service. Very fast, proving those slow ones are just not up to standard, because this was busy and yet food was super fast ( and my orders were cusstomised)
There is a man there working on the floor, he was an older man and helping people...... he needs recognition, he was what customer service was once and should be again!
Food was yummy, I'd complain about lack of salt on my chips but because the service was so excellent and chips hot, it's a non issue!
For a truck stop McDonald's the food is tip top. Both burgers were hot and fresh chips were crisp. Quick service no problems!
Small but perfectly formed, the McDonalds M5 northbound has everything you need: hot and tasty food served with a smile.
Feeling healthy, I opted for the garlic mayo grilled chicken wrap and it was lush. The side salad crispy and fresh, the coffee dark and bitter.

Just had a fantastic meal in McDonald's at Taunton Deane Services.
The Big Mac and Double Quarter pounder with cheese was really tasty and the cheese melt nuggets actually we're hit with hit cheese that oozed out which was a great surprise as most of the time we've had these they have been just warm and no melty cheese.
Great staff and s clean seating area. Well done to the staff for a very pleasant meal. If only all McDonald's could be this good.
A unique and delicious experience. Taunton Deane McDonald's make every meal a happy meal. Blown away by the matey but pro service, the spa day cleanliness and the gourmet feel good food. Will be coming back for next year's birthday. Thanks to everyone involved x
Very busy place being at a service station. Food arrived fairly quick.
A luvly Mac Donald’s as all others. The food in me favourite was perfect as always. I had a bacon bap with brown sauce which reminded me of my home the north. It was lovely jubbely. The food court wasn’t too busy and there were a few table. The parking situation was also good, with many spaces considering this mac Donald’s is located right next to a freeway. I had a enjoyable time and I recommend this place.

A quick stop off for some milkshakes on a hot day. Clean surfaces, polite staff busy but spacious.
Great place to stop when coming this way.
Usual quick food. The touch screens are easy to use especially if paying by card.
Burgers are good and the chicken legend is tasty.
We stop here regularly every 10 days on way to work, so we hit lot of motorway services and the staff are best we have come across with manners and we even got given 50% off as the manager said he saw us on regular basis and to have a good day.
