I love this place. I've never had a bad meal there. It feels brand new, the decor is stunning, especially now they've decorated it all up for Christmas. The staff are so friendly, particularly the lovely lady who served us. The food is gorgeous, I had the double steak stack burger 🖒

We had a lovely meal. I had sea bass lovely will have it again. And Jenny had burger which she also loved. We had a 50% code so great value. Instead of the 50% codes etc that we get all the time just gives us two for one if we have the table table card. Much simpler to me.???

The food was lovely. Really enjoyed it. The service was good apart from when we first went in, had to wait for a while to get a drink. There was nobody really designated to stay on the bar to serve drinks. Other than that, enjoyed it. Xx

Great value for money typical pub fare. Staff extremely helpful and very pleasant. Great place for a cheap midweek meal, saves on the cooking and washing up at home. Warm and cosy atmosphere.

Love going for the £9.99 eat all you like breakfast. The quality is great and the price keeps me and my partner returning when we just can't be bothered to make our own or are in a rush. Best breakfast around in my opinion. Spot on.

Just passing on our way home and wanted somewhere to eat. We had no prior knowledge so called in with no great expectations and in fairness based it another pub chain that should be OK. However we were welcomed in with politeness from all of the staff, excellent service and a standard and level of food above our expectations. The main meals were very well presented, hot, well portioned and extremely tasty having been cooked perfectly. Dessert followed and again were 2 of the nicest sundaes we have had for a long time, well presented, well made with layers that meant all parts were as good as the first mouthfuls. Therefore all of our original expectations were well and truly surpassed making it a most enjoyable experience through service and food. Looking forward to the next time we are passing by.

March 2018 update: We ate here on our first night on this visit and had kids screaming and running around throwing paper aeroplanes and raucous shouting and laughter from the bar. The service was mediocre although the food was lovely but we couldn't really enjoy it. Not for us again, I'm afraid. September 2017: Sitting, as it does, next to a Premier Inn, this place is handy for dining. It has a welcoming exterior and is spacious, bright and clean inside. The staff are excellent - always happy to help with a smile. The food is very good and the service time is reasonable. The menu doesn't have as large a choice as I've seen in other restaurants, but there is something to cover most tastes and pockets. A nice place all round.

Great place, clean, tidy, the food was tasty and freshly cooked good value for money, staff are really nice and helpful, also friendly, it's a nice big place ideal for a large get together or a small cosy meal for two, I would definitely recommend a visit and look forward to going again. There is also a hotel next-door.

Four of us had a really lovely lunch here and all in all, it is reasonably priced and good value from their "Day Value Mains". This lets you have two meals for £8.99 and a desert after for only £2.99! We ordered two rounds of fish and chips, one sausage, egg and chips and I had the Beef and mushroom burger and all our meals were fresh, tasty and very good. The drinks selection is good and my pint of Tribute ale was just perfect. The staff were friendly and welcoming and Andrew went out of his way to make our lunch experience a truly enjoyable experience. Social distancing is maintained by a one way system and face masks are required when entering inside and if going to the toilets as well. The decor is warm and pleasant and it wasn't overcrowded we we were there. It is only a short walk from the canal on the Rugeley visitors moorings, after Bridge 66 and before the railway bridge following the road above the bridge. Definitely worth the visit and we would certainly reccomend it... Thanks to all the staff but in particular to Andrew for your great service. Keep smiling as you did when we were there and hopefully see you again sometime soon...!
