Had a main meal and drinks for 4 of us- meals were all fine- my steak was lovely.
No napkins on the table but asked one of the staff and they were brought very quickly.

I was there with some of my family and we really enjoyed ourselves. every meal was perfect, the steak was cooked as asked for, the chips were delicious in fact it was perfect/ I will be bringing some more of my family very soon/ thankyou for such a pleasant experience/
Sunday lunch was excellent (we’ve been coming for Sunday lunch for about 18 months now) I had chicken everything was cooked to perfection, chicken, vegetables, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing etc. my partner had gammon and chips, his was also excellent. I booked the table online as I usually do the day before, booking is easy to use. The staff are very helpful, friendly and polite, from the choice of seating to changing my partners meal to suit his taste, he doesn’t like pineapple so they gave him two eggs instead with his gammon. As I said we’ve been coming for about 18 months and the meals have always been excellent and the staff have always been pleasant.
My wife and I had a burger each with a pint of beer and a cider. The service was good . And the meals were delicious. The staff were very helpful and polite. The atmosphere of the pub is cool and pleasant. Adding up to a relaxed and pleasant evening. We go there often and will continue to. Great pub.
Had absolutely fabulous time. Staff very attentive (although only one member of staff on bar when we arrived had to find reserved table ourselves fortunately only one reserved). Excellent food all enjoyed our meal. Thoroughly good evening with family xx
On arrival staff very welcoming. Service was very good. All meals were served piping hot and the presentation was good. Overall experience was excellent and have no reservation about returning and recommending The Stags Leap.
Sfaff could be more attentive.... But overall, average pub experience, exactly what you would expect. Not a bad one!
Really friendly team. The service was a little slow I waited over an hour for my meal, however it was nicely cooked. My husband was a little disappointed as there were no prawns for his normal starter of prawn cocktail and you’d also run out of garden peas.
We had a lovely meal for my sons 18th birthday. Although the pub was very busy the staff were very polite and helpful.

Our table reserved in advance and on arrival we were immediately shown to our table. We ordered drinks and our meals at the bar - one surf and turf medium rare and one surf and turf medium. We had to wait around 40 minutes although it was quite busy. Unfortunately my steak arrived and it was exceedingly well done. I had to go to the bar and wait a few minutes to attract the attention of a member of staff. The plate was changed and a new steak arrived about 10 minutes later which was perfect except without the scampi. Again I had to go to the bar to get a staff members attention. I waited a further 7 or 8 minutes and the scampi arrived. My wife enjoyed her meal and said her steak had been perfectly cooked. I have given a relatively high score mainly because of the food we eventually ate albeit not at the same time. The staff were all quite pleasant and it seemed a very nice pub.
The bar staff went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable, I forgot to order my garlic bread but they bought it out anyway without charge and when we joked about one of us having more ice cream than the other, another bowl of ice cream suddenly appeared again without charge. Would defiantly recommend this pub, both the food & atmosphere are great 😊

Only let down is the drinks prices. Feel like getting ripped off. Now the pool table is £1.50 too!!!

Great place to eat. It was very busy but we didn't have to wait too long. Good veggie menu. Staff friendly.
First time visiting here. Reserved a table for four. Polite and cheerful staff. Food we ordered using the qr code and all arrived accurate and in a timely manner. Food was tasty fresh and well presented. Definitely will be going back. Can't find anything to complain about . Five stars from us.
We visited with my daughter and son in law. The atmosphere was very nice.
We ordered our food and as I was due back at work within an hour and a half I was dubious with it being busy that I wouldn't have time to eat but I needn't have worried as the food was ready pretty quick. The food was really nice and fresh and hot. We all really enjoyed what we had ordered.
We will definitely come back again
Staff efficient and friendly. Food was good and reasonably priced. Nice environment. Would have preferred if there was a family area (a few crying toddlers when having catch up with a friend).
