Silsila is our absolute favourite takeaway in Rugeley, with absolutely amazing food, and even more amazing staff.
My family have various dietary restrictions between us (namely being vegan and Coeliac/gluten intolerant), and Silsila's staff are always friendly, welcoming, helpful and incredibly accommodating. I always feel awkward having to ask for gluten free food, but the staff never make me feel like an inconvenience. They are more than happy to check the ingredients of individual dishes, make adjustments so that we can still have our favourite curries, and always ensure that there is no cross contamination from other dishes.
There aren't many restaurants or takeaways in Rugeley that are so accommodating - asking for vegan and/or gluten free food at various other restaurants has resulted in being given stuff like chilli with garlic bread mistakenly plonked on top, jacket potatoes or plain salads, and that's if they have anything we can eat at all. At Silsila we can have poppadoms, a few different starters and sundries, and plenty of different curries and sides. Obviously breads are out of the picture, but there are plenty of other things we've been able to have.
Whether you have dietary requirements or not, I would really recommend going to Silsila. The staff are lovely, service is always speedy, and the food is absolutely delicious. Huge thanks to Zach, Jay and the rest of the staff for always giving us such a wonderful time <3

This restaurant is amazing and the food is beautiful. The staff take a lot of care over orders and dietary requirements, we went for a birthday meal and they dimmed the lights and brought the cake out we'd brought in. Fantastic for a night out! 👍🏻

Love this place always fantastic food, great service and really friendly staff nothing is too much trouble. It doesn't matter if they are really busy the service is always to the same great standard.

I am working in the area and thought I’d give it a try. Quite honestly it was the best chicken biryani I have ever had. Very generous portions and the sauce was to die for. Amazing service too. Jay and Zak were great hosts. Highly recommended. Give it a try . You won’t regret it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely love this place. Always a warm welcome. We have been to many Indian restaurants but rate this as the best food of all of them. First class, bags of flavour. Thanks Silsila. Back soon!
Fantastic meals, we had four different meals and would give 10/10 for each.
Staff were very helpful in ordering our meals and you can take your own drinks in.

On a work night outing, the 10 of us dined at the Silsila Indian Cuisine and were very warmly created by all of the staff.
All food came out on time for everyone with zero mistakes, very impressive.
I foolishly chose a main that was way way way too hot for myself to handle, however the main itself was tremendous in taste.
The Manager overseeing my personal struggle made sure to keep tabs on me, even going as far as having a yogurt put together in the kitchen to get me through it. Even after defeat the Manager offered another main of a less volcanic heat but insisted it had been my choice and that I did in fact love the hot main, top man.
This level of service was high standard and I will highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a decent night out for food.

Had a delicious meal on Monday night. Great service from helpful capable staff. Strongly recommend. They are happy for you to bring your own alcohol. Wine glasses set on the tables.

I came here, all the kids were vaping so I told them to breathe air. Curries were good. I had butter chicken. Same colour as my Bugatti. My unmatched perspicacity coupled with sheer indefatigability makes me a feared opponent in any realm of human endeavour.
Really good food, but great staff. Recommended some great dishes, service was quick and courteous. It was a pretty busy saturday night but everything was perfect- will 100% be back
Fantastic service from silsila. We ordered a delivery for a specific time. We were having a relatives over from Sutton. The food arrived on time and was Fantastic my family commented it was the best they had ever eaten. We use Silsila regularly but it was great to see how much my family enjoy it. Thank you Silsila for helping with a great night.
We went here this evening as we were staying at the Travelodge and it was the highest rated restaurant nearby. I’m really glad we did. The service was good, the place was clean and the food was excellent. The sag paneer was the best I’ve had anywhere in the country and I would love the recipe! I will definitely go back next time we’re in the area.
Went for the set menu, good value for the portion sizes. Manager was friendly and took the time to talk to the children. Food tasted fresh. Bhaji and naans were crispy not oily or greasy. Would recommend their mushroom rice too.
Went to silsila yesterday and the food was brilliant and the service even better. It was so good we ordered a takeaway from them the next night! Fantastic flavour, great service, great price and couldn’t recommend more highly!
We loved this little restaurant. The staff were really attentive and the food was delicious, would recommend a trip there! All dishes are reasonably priced and the restaurant is just the right size for you to enjoy your own privacy but also not to feel lost in if you were the only people on there. The phone was constantly ringing and customers wanting to come in and dine for the night. As it was our first night in Rugeley we can only comment on that night but it was very popular indeed and judging on the amazing food and friendly atmosphere we were not surprised at all. The staff seemed to know some of the customers by name as they were chatting with them so we assume they also have regular return customers.
The best indian in the world with amazing staff that make your evening the greatest. Food is out of this world. Additive and beautiful. Recommended to all fabulous
